BLUE ENCOUNT、新曲「さよなら」が『ラストコップ THE MOVIE』の主題歌に

BLUE ENCOUNTが映画『ラストコップ THE MOVIE』の主題歌を担当することがわかった。

3月12日（日）からバンド史上最大規模となる全国ツアー「TOUR2017 break“THE END”」をスタートさせたブルエンことBLUE ENCOUNT。初日の高松公演で本編を終えたアンコールからLINE LIVEによる生配信番組を行ない、メンバー自ら5月3日（水）から公開される映画『ラストコップ THE MOVIE』の主題歌を担当することを発表。会場に居合わせたオーディエンスと生配信番組を試聴していたリスナーを大いに沸かせた。

映画の主題歌となる楽曲タイトルは「さよなら」であることも発表され、その後は昨年10月からオンエアされていたドラマ『THE LAST COP／ラストコップ』の主題歌「LAST HERO」を演奏しラストコップファンを改めて狂喜させた。

「LAST HERO」はブルエンらしいソリッドで豪快かつキャッチーなサウンドと、闘志と勇気に満ち溢れた歌詞がリスナーを鼓舞する、まさにブルエンスピリットを体現するロックナンバーに仕上がっており、ドラマで主演を務める唐沢寿明扮する熱血な正義感を持つ刑事・京極浩介とのリンクはもちろんのこと、コミカルながら深く熱い愛情が描かれるドラマのイメージにもベストマッチしていただけに、新曲「さよなら」の発表が待たれる。
