BLUE ENCOUNT、全国ツアーのグランドファイナル公演は熊本での凱旋ライブに決定

BLUE ENCOUNTの全国ツアー『BLUE ENCOUNT TOUR 2018 Choice Your 「→」』のグランドファイナル公演が、熊本・熊本B.9 V1にて行なわれることが決定した。これはBLUE ENCOUNTのツイキャス「ブルキャス」にて発表されたもので、熊本発の彼らにとっては凱旋ライブということになる。彼らが地元でのワンマンライブを行なうのは2016年7月からの2年ぶりで、期待は膨らむばかり。なおチケットの発売日は追って発表される。

また、3rdアルバム『VECTOR』の特設サイトにて“写真で綴るもうひとつの VECTOR”と題されたページが公開された。こちらは『VECTOR』のジャケットを構成している写真を含む、複数の写真を掲示したページとなっている。“人生には無数の選択肢があり、それぞれに違うベクトルが存在する。その選択に迷うこともあるが、どれを選んでもあなたの人生は間違いではないはず”そのようなメッセージが込められたアルバムのジャケットは、写真家・後藤倫人の撮り下ろしと、田邊駿一（Vo＆Gu）が東京・代官山を歩きながら撮り下ろした写真によって構成されている。それぞれの写真を見て『VECTOR』をもう1周聴くと、また違う発見があるかもしれない。是非チェックしてみよう！

「何歳になっても俺は無知だなぁ」
ファインダー越しの風景を見ながら漏らした言葉たち
カメラの知識がほとんどない。という意味の無知さはもちろんだ
しかしそういうことではなくて、
普段歩いてる道
その中に存在する沢山の未知なる景色
それらをファインダー越しにやっと見つけられた自分に対して言った言葉だった
当たり前の毎日には知らなかった新しい道があって
それに気づかず歩いてる
写真に限ったことではない
自分が選んだ現実の中に
自分が別れを告げた夢の中に
知らなかった道標がある
今だからこそ、
道を見つけるんだ
道を選ぶんだ

アルバム『VECTOR』の真意が、
シャッターをきる人差し指から心の深い場所にしっかりと伝達された気がします

これは、僕の事だと思った。このアルバムの中で唄われているのは、別世界のロックスターの話ではなく、日常に生きている僕の様な人間の事なんだな、と。
日々の些少な事に一喜一憂して、毎日は窮屈になっていくけど、それでもテレビから流れてくる悲惨なニュースを憂いて平和を願ってみたり、自分がしている事が本当に正しいのか？ という堂々巡りを繰り返している。
そんな毎日を暮らしている僕の事だと。
だから、このアルバムを聴いて、浮かんだイメージを写真にして下さいというオファーに、全く怯むことは無かった。
まんまの僕を撮れば良い、このアルバムの音がある日常の、僕が見たものを撮れば良いのだから。
それでも迷った時は、イヤホンから流れる音を聴きながら、田邊さんが見た風景を探した。それは、陸橋の上に伸びる自分の影であり、夕暮れ時に遠くに見えた街の光であり、不意に見上げたなんて事のない青空だった。
『VECTOR』というアルバムは、今の僕自身と真っ直ぐに向き合わせてくれた。最後の、「こたえ」という曲に今も僕は背中を押されている。
