TWEEDEES、アニメ「おじゃる丸」エンディングテーマを担当

TWEEDEESがアニメ「おじゃる丸」の新エンディングテーマを担当することが明らかになった。


1998年に放送を開始したNHK Eテレのアニメ「おじゃる丸」は、今年20年目を迎えたことを記念して、最初のエンディングテーマである「プリン賛歌」の新バージョンを4月5日から放送する。この2017年のアニバーサリーバージョンを清浦夏実と沖井礼二によるポップ・グループ、TWEEDEESが担当することになった。

「プリン賛歌 ~20th à la mode edition」として、ポップでドリーミーなロックサウンドに生まれ変わった「プリン賛歌」を是非チェックしてほしい。

また、このTVサイズの音源は4月12日からiTunesとレコチョクにて配信される予定だ。併せてTWEEDEESの新しいアーティスト写真も公開されている。

遡ること20年…夕飯前のチャンネルは教育テレビに固定だった清浦家。小学一年生だった私はおじゃる丸の初回放送をハッキリと憶えています。
なので今回お話を頂いた時に「今すぐにでも歌えます」とお返事をしました。
歌録りの際には大地監督もスタジオにいらして、初回放送当時の思い出や、どんなEDにしたいかなどお話ししてくださいました。
大切な20年という節目にTWEEDEESとして参加出来てとても光栄です。
素晴らしきこの時代！是非アニメも音源も楽しんで頂けたら嬉しいでおじゃる。

おじゃる丸放送開始20年を記念して、スタート時のエンディング・ナンバー「プリン賛歌」をカヴァーするという大役をTWEEDEESが担わせていただくことになりました。恐縮です。
恐縮しつつカヴァー・アレンジに着手したところ「メロディがとても良いから、何をやってもいい曲になってしまう。つまり選択肢が多過ぎて困る」という非常に贅沢な悩みに苦しみましたが、これもプロデューサー氏の「TWEEDEESらしくかっこよくしてくれるのが一番です。ただしベースはリッケンバッカーでお願いします。」というディレクションで吹っ切れました。おかげでTWEEDEESらしくフルスイング出来た作品になったと思います。
私自身がデビューするきっかけとなったバンド「Cymbals」を結成したのもちょうど20年前でした。今、おじゃる丸にこうして関われるのも因縁めいたものを感じます。
おじゃる丸放送開始20年を改めてお祝いさせていただきたく思います。
