BUCK-TICK、デビュー30周年を記念して劇場映画作品を6月に公開！ ライブCDの発売も！

今年9月にデビュー30周年を迎えるBUCK-TICK。これを記念するプロジェクトの一環として、劇場映画作品『BUCK-TICK〜CLIMAX TOGETHER〜ON SCREEN 1992-2016』が6月に公開されることが決定した。

これは1992年、2004年、2016年の9月11日、12年に一度の同じ日、同じ場所で3度にわたって行なわれたBUCK-TICKの特別なライヴ公演『CLIMAX TOGETHER』を題材にした映像作品。

24年という時空を跨いで12年周期で行なわれた同公演についてメンバーがインタビューで改めて振り返り、1992年、2004年、2016年の各ライヴを1本の線上に繋ぎ直すことによって、メンバーの成長、ファンとの関係性、そしてBUCK-TICKというバンドの唯一無二の存在感がくっきりと浮かび上がる作品になっているという。

不動のメンバーによるデビュー30年の歩みを誰もがなしえたことのない定点観測の手法を用いて見つめ直し、その一端に触れる歴史的な音楽作品とのことだ。

そして、この映画企画の原点ともいえる1992年の『Climax Together』を完全収録したライヴCDのリリースも決定した。ビデオシューティングを前提に企画されたライヴとして、1992年9月10日・11日に横浜アリーナで開催された『Climax Together』。この歴史的な2日間のライヴ音源が25年の時を経て、完全収録盤として4枚組SHM-CDでリリースされる。

当時リリースされた映像作品『Climax Together』では、映像編集に重きを置いて楽曲ごとに1日目と2日目のテイクが混在した収録内容となっていたが、今回初めて2日間それぞれの全音源をディスクごとに分けて完全収録。収録当時のマルチテープを発掘し、2017年ミックス版として25年ぶりに完全復活を遂げた。

そのサウンドはエンジニア比留間整氏によるミックスにより臨場感と奥行きのある音像に仕上がっている。1日目と2日目で異なる表情を奏でている音源を聴き比べるとより楽しめる作品となっている。

また、30周年を記念したベストアルバム『CATALOGUE 1987-2016』の制作に伴い、ファンから収録曲のリクエストを募集することも発表された。想い出の1曲、大好きな1曲、特別な1曲など、30周年ベスト盤にふさわしいBUCK-TICKの曲をリクエストしよう！
