ハルカトミユキ、3rdアルバムは研ぎ澄まされて振り切った新録12曲！

2017年にインディーズデビューから5周年を迎えるハルカトミユキが、同年2月のツアーファイナルでリリースをアナウンスしていた6月28日発売の3rdアルバム。その詳細が明らかになった。

2月のツアーで披露された「終わりの始まり」「嵐の舟」を含む、全て書き下ろしの新録で12曲が収録される。

アルバムタイトルは『溜息の断面図』。オルタナとダンスミュージックを融合したM1「わらべうた」、「ニュートンの林檎」以来のダークトーンの疾走感のあるロックナンバー「Stand Up, Baby」、新機軸となる「WILL（Ending Note）」、“青春の果て”を描いた胸を鷲掴みにされる秀逸なバラード「宝物」など、言葉は今までのどの作品よりも鋭く研ぎ澄まされ、楽曲は振り切ったエッジ―な作品が並ぶ。

前述のツアーファイナルで発表された、3年連続の日比谷野外大音楽堂でのワンマンも決まっている。そんな今の2人の勢いがそのまま詰め込まれた、間違いなく最高傑作に仕上がった。

各所から高評価を受けた2016年夏にリリースの2ndアルバム『LOVELESS/ARTLESS』からわずか10ヶ月。プレッシャーなど微塵も感じず、このアルバムに向けて書き下ろされた50以上の曲からセレクトした12曲となった。いよいよ大きな注目を集めそうな彼女たちの“今”を切り取った作品は、2017年の音楽シーンに何を訴えかけるのか？ 要注目である。

初回盤には、2016年9月に行なわれたライヴの音源を14曲収録。目撃した者すべてが“ハルカトミユキ史上最高のライヴ”と言うほどに充実した“あの夜”のパフォーマンスがCDで甦る。特に、未だ音源化されておらず、あの夜にたった一回披露されて会場中の感動を誘った名曲「LIFE 2」も収録されるだけに、こちらも必聴だ。

6月28日（水）からは、Shibuya WWW X、Shibuya WWW 、渋谷CLUB QUATTROの3会場で、tacica、peridots、きのこ帝国とそれぞれ一夜限りの2マンライヴが開催される。どこよりも早く、新曲を聴ける機会となる。こちらは、6月1日（木）18:00より「ハルカトミユキ モバイル会員」限定でオリジナルTシャツ付き3DAY通し券の2次販売がスタートする。
