GOOD ON THE REEL、全国ツアー『グアナコの行進』閉幕

GOOD ON THE REELの自身最大規模となる全国ツアー『HAVE A "GOOD" NIGHT Vol.51～70「グアナコの行進」』20本目となるツアーファイナルが、彼らにとって初のホールワンマンとなる中野サンプラザにて行なわれた。

イントロダクションのSEに歓声が湧き上がると、砂漠をイメージしたステージセットの前に、岡﨑広平（Gt.）、高橋誠（Dr.）、伊丸岡亮太（Gt.）、宇佐美友啓（Ba.）、千野隆尋（Vo.）と、メンバーが1人ずつ順番に登場。「こんばんは、GOOD ON THE REELです、どうぞよろしく！」との力強い挨拶と共に1曲目「砂漠」が披露され、グアナコの“最後の行進”が幕を開けた。続く「雨天決行」「それは彼女の部屋で二人」「ユリイカ」と、ステージを所狭しと駆け回る千野のパフォーマンス、圧倒的なサウンドの迫力に、会場は一気に一体感に包まれた。

2017年2月にリリースされた最新アルバム『グアナコの足』を携えて全国を巡った今回のツアー。タイトルにもある“グアナコの足”とは、世界で最も乾燥している地域、アタカマ砂漠に大雨が降った後に砂漠一面に花が咲き、幻想的な風景を作りだす現象のこと。千野は「このグアナコの花のように、感動の花を1ヶ所1ヶ所咲かせたいと思ってスタートした今回のツアー。今日も会場に足を運んでくれたたくさんの人に感動の花を咲かせたい」と語りかけたMCに続き、「あいつ」「小さな部屋」「ひらり」を披露。

“失くしてから気づく大切な想い、たくさん笑ってたくさん泣いた2人の物語”を描いたという「24時間」、ステージに浮かび上がった大きな傘の下にメンバーがすっぽり入った演出の中演奏された「透明な傘の内側から」、アルバム『グアナコの足』に収録の人気曲「zzz」「冬の羊」を披露。さらに「泣いても笑っても今日が最後！」と気合いを入れた宇佐美のMCから、「サーチライト」「ホワイトライン」「REM」「Drop」と重厚感のあるドラム、ベース、ギターにエモーショナルなヴォーカルが映える楽曲が続く。

千野は「1つ1つやってきた、今日も今日とて特別。俺らはいつも通り俺らの音楽で、俺らにしか作れない空間を作ってみんなを笑顔にしたいんだ！」と語り盛り上げると、ステージも後半戦に突入。「素晴らしき今日を始めよう！！」の合言葉で「素晴らしき今日の始まり」のイントロが流れると、オーディエンスのボルテージも一気に上昇。そのまま「rainbeat」「灯火」とPOPでカラフルな楽曲が会場を彩る。

本編の最後に演奏されたのは「銀河鉄道の朝」。「未来は自由に描くことができる。描くことによって目指すことができる。もし最後に叶わなくても、描かなかった自分よりは少し前に進めると思う。俺らにも続きがあるなら、あなたにも続きがあるなら、次また会えるなら、ほんの少しでいい、前に進んだ自分で会おうね」との千野のメッセージと共に、壮大なサウンドで本編が終了。

鳴り止まない拍手と歓声に、メンバーが再びステージに登場するとアンコールとして、ホール全体が美しくライトアップされた中「シャボン玉」を歌唱。スタッフからプレゼントされたというオリジナルのリストバンドを付けたメンバー。暖かい空気感の中、ライヴ定番曲「シャワー」のサビでは一斉にフリ付きで盛り上がり、会場は再び大きな一体感に包まれた。ラストはWアンコールとして、今ツアーで初披露となる名曲「ハッピーエンド」で締めくくった。

全力疾走で駆け抜けたこの3ヶ月、総移動距離12,000kmを超えた今回の全国ツアーを経て、更なる成長を遂げたGOOD ON THE REEL。これからの活躍も非常に楽しみだ。
