ベッド・イン、メジャー2ndシングル「CO・CO・RO グラデーション」MVとイメージビデオのダイジェストを公開

バブル時代、バブル文化を心からリスペクトし活動しているベッド・インの新曲「CO・CO・RO グラデーション」（9月6日発売）の ミュージックビデオ、イメージビデオDVDのダイジェスト版が同時公開された。 先日開催されたSUMMER SONIC 2017のBEACH STAGEにトップバッターで出演し、驚異の集客を見せた彼女たち。ライブ出演以外にも、MARINE STAGEでのMCや“放水ガール” として1日中引っ張りだこになるなど、まさに“バブルの嵐”を巻き起こしている中リリースされるメジャー2ndシングル 「CO・CO・RO グラデーション」は、切ない女心をエモーショナルに歌ったネオバブルなディスコ歌謡。1980年代末～90年代初頭に 流行した洋楽やディスコサウンドを織り交ぜた歌謡を彷彿とさせる楽曲で、今までのベッド・インとはひと味もふた味も違う意表を ついた楽曲に仕上がっている。

今回発表されたミュージックビデオでは、一筋縄では語れない〝切ない女心〟〝心変わり〟を、ベッド・インの新たな側面に フィーチャーして表現。いつもはタカビーで強く逞しいイメージの彼女達が初めて見せる〝オトナの女の弱さ〟に、思わずドキっと されられるはず。ふたりのアンニュイでセクシーな表情と、揺れる〝熱帯魚〟のマリアージュ…そして映像美に酔いしれてみて欲しい。
Mr.ChildrenやUVERworldなど名だたるアーティストを手がける大喜多正毅氏が監督を務め、印象的なダンスは 振付稼業air:man、バブル時代のアイドル香る華やかな衣装はAKB48などを手がける里山拓斗氏がデザインした。 また、バブリーな建築でその名を知られる日立シビックセンターをロケ地に採用するなど、一貫してバブルを貫いたゴージャスな 仕上がりとなった。 「CO・CO・RO グラデーション」はイメージビデオDVD付きの12cmCDと、この時代にあえて“8cm短冊CD” という異例の形態でリリースされる点もおもしろい。12cmCDに付いているイメージビデオDVD「Summer Dream 2017」の ダイジェストも同時に公開となっているのでこちらも要チェック。
バブル時代に流行したセクシーアイドルの〝イメージビデオ〟を 意識した本作品は、ベッド・インが沖縄の空の下、セクシーなハイレグ水着で波と戯れる姿や、ボディコンで街中を闊歩する姿などが 拝める内容。当時をリスペクトする彼女達ならではのこだわりが詰まった映像に、思わずニヤけてしまうこと請け合いだ。
さらに、発売記念インストアイベントも発表された。
ベッド・インに挟まれてのスリーショットチェキ会／直筆サイン色紙 お渡し会が、東京・名古屋・大阪・福岡・札幌の5都市で開催予定。景気と元気をもらいに行ってみては？
