THE YELLOW MONKEY、3ヶ月連続配信リリース第二弾「Stars」MV公開！

THE YELLOW MONKEYが3ヶ月連続配信リリースの第二弾となる「Stars」Music Videoを公開した。9月13日に配信リリースした第一弾「ZIGGY STARDUST」に続く、第二弾の「Stars」はチケット発売後すぐにソールドアウトが発表された12月9日（土）・10日（日）の東京ドーム公演『THE YELLOW MONKEY SUPER BIG EGG 2017』や、12月28日（木）の福岡 ヤフオク!ドーム公演『THE YELLOW MONKEY SUPER メカラ ウロコ・28 -九州SPECIAL-』に向けて制作された“ドーム映え”する楽曲。“地味派手”をテーマにバンドの一発録りの緊張感とビンテージサウンドにこだわりながら、最新のテクノロジーも取り入れた大人の余裕と経験を感じさせるロックに仕上がっている。

今作のMusic Videoを手がけるのは数々のMusic VideoやCM、ファッション映像などを幅広く手がける映像ディレクターの中村剛。THE YELLOW MONKEYとは5月にリリースしたデビュー25周年新録ベストアルバムのMusic Video「TYM's hacking movie」に続いて2度目のタッグを組む。また、今作には演奏するメンバーの周りに奇妙なコスチュームを身につけたダンサー達が登場。国内外で活躍する振付ユニットair:manが振付を担当し、クールでスタイリッシュな世界にワンポイントのユーモアが加わることで、より印象的な作品に仕上がった。ドームステージを心待ちにまずは配信リリース、Music Videoで「Stars」をチェックしてほしい。
