RIZE、結成20周年記念全国ツアー終幕

RIZEが結成20周年を記念し4月から40公演にわたって全国を駆け抜けた『RIZE TOUR 2017 “RIZE IS BACK”』の国内ファイナル公演を11月18日（土）になんばHatchで開催した。

SOLD OUTの会場はRIZE登場前から異様な熱気に包まれる。オープニングナンバーは最新アルバムのタイトル曲「帰ってきたサンダーボルト」、暗転のステージにスポットライトが差し込まれるとそこにはJESSE（Vo.）が唯一人。その異様ともとれる光景から「RIZE IS BACK!!!」とシャウトが響き渡り、超低音が骨まで共振するトラップミュージックに合わせ無数レーザーの閃光が放たれる。バンドサウンドではなくラッパーからのスタートにまず度肝を抜かされた。そして照明による稲妻が落ちた次の瞬間には全メンバーがステージに表れ、モンスターバンドの堂々たる登場に圧倒された。先逝したミュージシャンたちに捧ぐ鎮魂歌「ALL DOGS」ではメンバーのコーラスワークが美しいハーモニーを奏でる。アルバム収録曲が立て続けに披露されると、早くも客席は巨大なダンスフロアと化した。金子ノブアキ（Dr.）の研ぎ澄まされたビートに縦横無尽なグルーヴを紡ぎ出すKenKen（Ba.）、そして重厚なリフを刻むRio（Gt.）。圧倒的なライブパフォーマンスと爆音の音響、視覚に突き刺さる照明が最強のバンドサウンドをサポートする。「ツアーを一言で表せる言葉を考えたけど“感謝”って言葉以外に出てこなくて、気付いたら貰ってるもんが多すぎて、この気持ちどうやって返せるかって想いで今日やってくんで」と40公演を支え続けてくれたファン、そしてスタッフへの想いを語ると、「RESPECT」から中盤戦に突入、会場全体が大きなグルーヴの塊となる「TKC」とますますボルテージが上昇する。包み込むレーザーが美しい「In or Out」、オーディエンスが掲げるピースサインで平和への願いを一つにした「heiwa」。ラップ、トラップ、ロック、メタルとまさにミクスチャーなセットリストでオーディエンスをさらに引き込んでいく。JESSEに呼応するかのように金子がビートを刻み、このツアーで初めて語ったと、早逝した盟友K（Pay Money To My Pain）への想いと自らの決意を込めたMCと共に「日本刀」を放つ。ラスト曲はデビューを飾った「カミナリ」。オーディエンスから一人ピックアップして歌唱させるのが恒例だが、この日「歌わせたい人がいる」と指名されたのは元RIZEベーシストのu:zo（現ROS）、粋な指名に会場はこのツアー最大の熱狂に包まれ本編は幕を閉じた。

鳴りやまぬアンコールの中再登場するとステージ客席側に立ったジェシーがバンドメンバーへ向け「おれRIZERを代表してお前らのこと大好きだから。誰一人置いてかねえから」と涙が見え隠れする一面も。自らの居場所を示した「Where I belong」、前向きでハッピーなメッセージソング「NAME」を披露し、冷めやらぬ興奮の渦の中で国内ツアーは幕を閉じた。

11月末にはアジアツアー（24日香港、26日上海）、12月20日（水）には日本武道館での初ワンマン公演が控えているRIZE、さらに加速度を上げて結成20周年メモリアルイヤーを突き進んでいく。
