中島美嘉、13年の時を経て再びHYDE書き下ろし楽曲が完成

中島美嘉とHYDEが、2005年公開の大ヒット映画『NANA』から13年振りにタッグを組んだ新曲「KISS OF DEATH（Produced by HYDE）」が完成した。本曲は、HYDEが楽曲提供・プロデュースを手掛けており、TVアニメ『ダーリン・イン・ザ・フランキス』の主題歌に決定しているとのこと。アニメのストーリーとリンクした歌詞と、疾走感溢れるサウンドにクールな中島美嘉の声がマッチした仕上がりになっており、2005年にNANA starring MIKA NAKASHIMA名義でリリースしたHYDEによる提供曲「GLAMOROUS SKY」からも、さらなる進化を遂げた傑作となっている。

アニメの主題歌が決定し、HYDEへ楽曲提供のオファーをしたところ、快諾を頂き実現に至ったという本プロジェクト。「GLAMOROUS SKY」以来2作目となることに加え、豪華スタッフが手掛ける大注目のアニメ主題歌決定ということで話題騒然必至の作品だ。また、この豪華コラボレーションが実現した主題歌音源入りアニメスポット映像が『ダーリンン・イン・ザ・フランキス』のオフィシャルYOUTUBEにて公開されたので、アニメと音楽がどんな化学反応を起こすのか、全貌が明らかになる一足前にチェックしよう。
