桑田佳祐、ライブ映像作品『がらくたライブ』に映画『茅ヶ崎物語 』も同梱!?

桑田佳祐の全国アリーナ＆ドームツアー『桑田佳祐 LIVE TOUR 2017「がらくた」』が、『がらくたライブ』として4月4日にDVD＆Blu-rayでリリースされることがわかった。

昨年10月に朱鷺メッセ 新潟コンベンションセンターで幕を開けた同ツアー。2017年を締めくくった12月31日の横浜アリーナでの年越しライヴまで10か所18公演に及び、全国各地を歓喜と興奮の渦に包み込んだ。桑田ソロとしての全国ライヴツアーは2012年以来5年ぶりであり、このツアーをもって音楽シーン史上初の5大ドームを含むツアーを2度完遂した男性ソロアーティストとなった。

2017年のヒット曲「若い広場」や「オアシスと果樹園」が収録された最新アルバム『がらくた』を中心に、30年前のソロデビュー曲「悲しい気持ち （JUST A MAN IN LOVE）」やミリオンヒットを記録した「波乗りジョニー」「白い恋人達」など、ロック、ポップス、バラード、ブルース等さ様々なジャンルの曲を縦横無尽に、そして桑田の30年を凝縮するように新旧織り交ぜられた楽曲が披露されたこのツアー。『がらくたライブ』は昨年11月11日・12日に行われた東京ドーム公演を中心に、12月16日・ 17日の京セラドーム大阪公演の模様も加えて編集されたライヴ映像、さらに貴重なツアーのメイキング映像も収録されたオリジナルエディションとなって映像作品化される。そして、ボーナストラックとして、日替わりで披露されていたアンコール楽曲「ダーリン」「明日へのマーチ」も収録される。

また、初回限定盤は映画『茅ヶ崎物語 〜MY LITTLE HOMETOWN〜』が同梱されるほか、 濃密な30周年の活動を一瞥することができる『KUWATA KEISUKE 2017 BOOK』も付属するスペシャルパッケージとなることもアナウンスされた。『茅ヶ崎物語 〜MY LITTLE HOMETOWN〜』は、茅ヶ崎の魅力と謎を解明していくドキュメンタリーファンタジー映画で、『第6回茅ヶ崎映画祭』『第37回ハワイ国際映画祭』『広島国際映画祭2017』で特別上映され、ロングラン上映を記録したヒット作。 桑田の同級生であり、サザンオールスターズの名付け親としても知られるレコードコレクター宮治淳一と人類学者の中沢新一が中心となり、宮治が茅ヶ崎の芸能史を紐解くように土地にゆかりのある様々な人たちに話を聞いていくと同時に、中沢が神話や伝説などと土地の関わりを数万年規模でさかのぼる“アースダイブ”という手法で茅ヶ崎という街をより多角的に捉えるべく探っていくドキュメンタリーと、この作品が映画化するきっかけを作った宮治淳一と桑田佳祐の学生時代を神木隆之介（宮治）と野村周平（桑田）が熱演し、その後の2人の人生を大きく変える出来事を再現するファンタジードラマとで構成されている。エンディングは、茅ヶ崎のシンボルでもある烏帽子岩で桑田が熱唱するシーンも収録されている。

なお、同商品は今後さらなる特典も準備されているとのこと。こちらの詳細は後日発表予定なので、続報を楽しみにしておこう。
