the pillows山中さわおプロデュースによる 1st Mini Album「 HAUGA 」がいよいよ初全国流通される“ArtTheaterGuild(アートシアターギルド)”。
Vo,Gt伊藤の独特な甘い声とキャッチーなメロ、オルタナティブなバンドサウンドが絶妙なコンビネーションを作り出す彼らの記念すべきAlbumからのリード曲「Stamen」のMusic Videoが、アルバムリリース1カ月前の9/18より公開になった。この楽曲はVo.Gt伊藤が、バンドを辞めていった大切な友人について書いた曲で、日々の取捨選択の結果が現在の自分を作っているというテーマが描かれている。MVは、監督に、今注目の集まる新人映像作家の宮下大輔氏、そして撮影に、光と影のカメラワークで若いバンドに人気の映像ディレクターとしても活躍する吉田ハレラマ氏を迎え、二人の強力なタッグで生まれた。前半では取捨選択をしていくメンバーを描き、後半ではメンバーが選んだ自分たちの好きなものに囲まれ、カラフルに彩られた自分たちの部屋のようなステージで、演奏する姿が印象的となっている。 今楽曲「Stamen」は、9/19より先行配信*1が始まるほか、日本テレビ系「バズリズム 02」でのPOWER PLAYも決定!
また、1st Mini Album「HAUGA」のリリースに先立ち、タワーレコード札幌ピヴォ店、渋谷店、新宿店、津田沼店、高崎オーパ店、広島店では1st Mini Album「HAUGA」の収録曲のダイジェスト盤先行試聴が開始され、さらには渋谷店、新宿店、難波店、タワーオンラインでは、彼らの旧作となる自主制作2ndEP「Farafra」の販売展開も急遽開始されている。
