椎名未緒（ユナイト）が、初のソロ名義でのCDリリースを発表！

5th Album 「NEW CLASSIC」のリリースも記憶に新しいユナイト。
来年3月の結成8周年を前にそのユナイトのギタリスト椎名未緒が、APPLIQUE(読み：アップリケ)という個人名義での活動を行い、初のCD「RELIC E.P.」を12月19にリリースする事が発表された。
合わせてAPPLIQUEとしてのアーティスト写真も公開されている。

1st Mini Album「RELIC E.P.」は、椎名未緒が作詞、作曲、編曲を手がけた完全新作の音源に、各楽曲毎に全て違うボーカリストを選出、椎名未緒に所縁のある人物がGuest Playerとしてそれぞれの楽曲に華を添えている。

本作品は、詞曲は勿論の事、ジャケットや歌詞カード等のアートワークの全てを椎名未緒自身が手がけており、作品全体が凝縮された椎名未緒の世界観となっている。

「RELIC E.P.」は、6曲入りの通常盤と8曲＋off vo収録の完全盤の2形態でのリリースとなるが、ユナイトオフィシャル通販「ユナハンッッ！！」にて発売される完全盤には、知る人ぞ知る迷曲(？)マグロ漁 -2018-の他、全楽曲のoff voトラックも収録される。
こちらは”椎名”にちなんで限定417枚のみの生産販売となっている。
