嘆いた後に、虜になる。THE SOUND BEE HD、バラードベストを発売。4月のワンマン公演で先行販売!!

1月に最新ミニアルバム『DEAD SILENCE』を発売したばかりのTHE SOUND BEE HDだが、早くも新しい作品をリリースする情報が届けられた。それが、5月15日に発売となるTHE SOUND BEE HD初のバラードベストルバム『ghost note』だ。
THE SOUND BEE HD自体、もともとバラードナンバーの評価が高いバンドとして支持を集めていた。中でも、DaISUKE DARK SIDEの「闇な感情の中へ寄り添う悲嘆な歌声」や「切なさの中から生を求めるように歌う凛とした声の揺れ」、どんな曲調であろうと「芯となる想いを突きつける感情的な歌声」に、たくさんの人たちが心を寄り添え続けてきた。
　サウンド面に於いても、叙情性や悲愴さ、刹那を描くうえで、バラードこそ一番リアルに心情を描き出せることから、彼らはその表現方法を好んできた。事実、THE SOUND BEE HDのバラードに触れ、彼らの世界観へ心酔する人たちが増え続けている。何より、1曲の中へ相反する二つの感情を描くうえで、バラードはTHE SOUND BEE HDにとって一番適した表現のスタイルであった。
それもあって、バラードに定評のあるTHE SOUND BEE HDの世界観へ改めてスポットを当てようということから、今回のバラードベスト『ghost note』は誕生している。しかも、単なるベスト盤ではなく、本作用に新曲『Another sky』を収録。とてもスケールあふれながらも、身近さを覚える。それでいて悲しみを湛えた音作りを施しているところも、この楽曲の聞きどころだ。

バラードベスト盤『ghost note』は、流通に先駆け、4月11日に恵比寿club aimで行うバラードワンマン公演「How It's Gotta Be〜暗夜の口笛〜」より会場先行発売になることも決定した。ぜひ、ライブでTHE SOUND BEE HDの描き出す多様な表情を抱いたバラードに触れ、じっくり浸っていただきたい。そのうえで、改めて自宅に戻ってからバラードベスト盤『ghost note』を聞きながらへ余韻に浸るのも乙なもの。
