超絶テクニックで魅せるロック・ベーシストIKUO 2ndソロ・アルバム『Easy come, easy core!!』遂にリリース

T.M.RevolutionやL’Arc～en～cielのTETSUYAソロバンド、ラウド＆ミクスチャーバンド、BULL ZEICHEN 88、トリプル・ベース・ユニットTHE CHOPPERS REVOLUTIONやRayflowerのメンバーとして、またアニメ「テニスの王子様」の主題歌でヴォーカルも披露するなど、ロック、ジャズ・フュージョン、アニソンとジャンルレスに活躍し、その端正なルックスとメカニカルなテクニックで幅広い支持を得ている、ロック・ベーシストIKUO(イクオ)の 2ndソロ・アルバム『Easy come, easy core!!』が遂にリリースとなり、本日、リード曲「Fly」のMusic Videoが公開となった。

レコーディング・メンバーと同じく、多方面で活躍しているビジュアル系屈指のテクニックを誇る8弦ギタリストLeda、人気バンドThe Winking OwlのドラマーKenTとのトリオで撮影されたMusic Videoは全編を通じて楽曲の躍動感を表現しており、一番の見どころは間奏にあると5弦ベースと8弦ギターのソロ・バトル。3人の凄まじいテクニックの応酬は必見となっている。

アルバム『Easy come, easy core!!』は、ラウドかつポップなイージーコア風サウンドにテクニカルな要素をぶち込んだ、IKUOならではの作品。
YouTubeチャンネル登録者数が130万人を越える人気ピアニストまらしぃもゲストで1曲参加。さらに、これまでにももいろクローバーＺや『ヒプノシスマイク-Division Rap Battle-』へ楽曲提供している音楽クリエイターギルド月蝕會議も作詞で参加している。

また書き下ろしのオリジナル・ソングに加え、かつてIKUOが手がけた『デジモンセイバーズ』OPテーマ「ヒラリ」（作詞：和田光司／作曲IKUO）、『テニスの王子様』OPテーマ「Make you Free」（作曲：IKUO）や、過去に在籍していたバンドの曲のセルフカバー、さらに洋楽のカバーも収録し、12曲中9曲で自らヴォーカルを披露している。

本作を引っ提げてアルバム録音メンバー行う東名阪ツアーは、東京2公演は一度ソールドアウトしてしまったが、若干枚数ではあるが7月27日よりイープラスにて追加チケット販売もひかえているので、こちらも要チェックだ。
