普段は裏方として楽曲創作に携わっているサウンドクリエイターの方々。十人十色という言葉があるように、サウンドクリエイターたちも一人一人自分なりの制作スタイルを持っていれば、日々、自分の個性に磨きをかけている。

もちろん、著名な方の話も参考にはなるが、それ以上に聞きたいのが、今、現場で経験を重ねながら成長し続けている若手クリエイターたちの生の声。理由は、一番サウンドクリエイターの卵となる人たちの心境に置き換え、より実践的に学ぶことができるから。
そんな声を受けて誕生したのが、サウンドクリエイターたちが日々抱き、感じている想いを綴ったコラムをまとめた「クリエイターの悶絶生活」というサイト。同サイトの代表の方が、以下の言葉を届けてくれた。

「作家が普段音楽とどのように向き合っているか、戦っているかを作家からの悩みやボヤキとしてさらけ出し、その解決策も掲示したサイトです。普段作家さんとやりとりする中で、過去に作家さんが苦労したノウハウが作家のメンタリティによってはあまり近道として機能しないことも多く、歯痒さを感じていました。従って、普段から作家の悩みを共有させることは、メリットも大きいと感じましたので、今後ますます高度化する音楽業界に対して、人材育成の一助にしたいと考えました。クリエイターが一番知りたいのは、作家の食生活や息抜きの様子ではなく、戦っている生き様。クリエイターが注目するサイトとして「クリエイターの悶絶生活」を立ち上げました」
