プリキュアシンガー池田彩の新プロジェクト「池田○○」シリーズ第二弾は、 和楽器バンド山葵とのコラボレーション

TVアニメ「プリキュア」シリーズの数々の主題歌を歌ってきた池田 彩の、新プロジェクト「池田○○」。
このプロジェクトは、アニソンシンガーとして10年以上活動してきた池田が様々なアーティスト・ミュージシャンとコラボレーションし、楽曲を発表していくもので、その楽曲はコナミアミューズメントより発売しているアーケード音楽ゲーム「GITADORA」に収録される。
第一弾はELLEGARDENのベース・高田雄一を迎え、話題になった。

その第二弾が、いよいよ「GITADORA」に収録される。
今回は和楽器バンドのドラム・山葵を迎え、「池田山葵」というユニット名で楽曲「運命(さだめ)」を発表、2月5日より「GITADORA」に標準収録されている。
この楽曲のドラムを演奏するのは、もちろん山葵自身。
山葵のハイレベルなドラムプレイを堪能することができる。
演奏に自信がある方も、楽曲に興味がある方も、ぜひプレイしてほしい。

池田 彩は今月、ソロ活動10周年を迎えた。
その幕開けを「池田山葵」で華々しく迎えるとともに、池田 彩がプロデュースするエンタテインメント・レーベル「SEYANEN RECORDS」の立ち上げを発表した。
歌手としての活動の枠を超えた展開らしく、その内容に注目したい。

「今回の楽曲が和楽器バンド・山葵（わさび）さんとのコラボレーションということで、『和ロックテイスト』をテーマに歌詞はニッポンをイメージして“武士”“サムライ”というキーワードにたどり着き、私のイメージする“武士の心” 愛する人のため、何かを守るため、みたいなものを詞に盛り込んで歌詞を作り、歌いました。この曲のBメロは息継ぎするところが全然無くて、とても難しいのでとにかく頑張って歌いました。今回の池田山葵GITADORAをマスターする事ができたら、是非私の歌にも注目して楽しんでいただければ嬉しいです。」

「この楽曲のデモを最初に聴いたときに力強い楽曲だなという印象を受けました。普段自分がバンドで演奏するスタイルは歌や楽曲に寄り添う事を意識しておりますが、打ち合わせを重ねるうちに考えが変わりました。今回は、このGITADORAを楽しんでくれる方々が主役なのでライブステージでの演奏以上に、敢えて“手数（てかず）”を詰め込んで『クリアできるもんならやってみろ！』っていう気持ちで叩いたのでアーケードゲームではどのように再現されるのか楽しみです。たぶん凄くクリアするのが難しい感じになっていると思うので、是非挑戦してほしいなと思います。最後に皆さんに私からひとこと『やれるもんならやってみろ！笑』」

池田 彩
TVアニメ「プリキュア」シリーズの主題歌を、「ハートキャッチプリキュア！」「スイートプリキュア♪」「スマイルプリキュア！」と、3シリーズ連続で担当した女性シンガー。
OAD「金田一少年の事件簿黒魔術殺人事件」主題歌や、オンラインゲームのテーマソングも歌唱。アニソンだけではなく、ゲームの世界でも活躍している。
また、オリジナル楽曲も次々と発表、東名阪でのワンマンライブを成功させるなど、オリジナル楽曲での活動も精力的に行っている。
活動は日本国内にとどまらず、過去にはフランス・パリの「Japan Expo」、アメリカ・ロサンゼルスで行われたアメリカで最大級のアニメイベント「Anime Expo」のメインステージでライブを行い、2000名以上のオーディエンスを沸かせた。その後も10ヵ国以上の国々でアニソンを歌い、ジャパニーズ・ポップ・カルチャーを広めている。
現在は、キッズアミューズメントゲーム「ポケモンガオーレ」のテーマソングの作詞と歌唱も担当。さらに2018年には、テレビ朝日系「快盗戦隊ルパンレンジャーVS警察戦隊パトレンジャー」の挿入歌『恋はmoon night mystery』も歌唱した。
「プリキュア」「ポケモン」「戦隊」と、ファミリー層に欠かせないコンテンツへ強く関わるシンガーとしても活動している。
