声優/シンガーの上間江望、自身の歩みの集大成盤/アコースティック盤を収録した2枚組アルバム「LIBRA」を発売!!

声優/シンガーとして活動している上間江望が、11月18日(水)に1stフルアルバムにしてベスト盤とも言える「LIBRA」を発売した。本作は、「アコースティック盤」「ワークス盤」と、それぞれにテーマを据えて作成したアルバムを集約した2枚組の作品。
最近ではアコースティックライブも積極的に行なっているように、「アコースティック盤」は、楽曲の素材を活かした音楽性はもちろん、上間江望自身の歌声の魅力を存分に味わえる内容。中には、「全力少年」(スキマスイッチ)「白日」(King Gnu)のカバー曲も収録。そこからも、シンガー上間江望としての実力と表現の個性を感じることが出来る。
「ワークス盤」は、最新ナンバーはもちろん。ゲーム作品を中心にした様々なテーマ曲を収録。これまでに歌い継いできた曲たちを、改めて今の上間江望スタイルで音源化。彼女の声優シンガーとしての歩みを知れる作品へと仕上がっている。長年応援してきたファンにとっては待望の音源化となる楽曲も多々収録してあるように、そこが嬉しい魅力だ。中には、「Stargazer」「Beautiful World」「ENDROLL,after」のように、両方の盤へ収録になっている楽曲もある。むしろこの曲たちは、オリジナルとアコースティックスタイルにアレンジされた曲たちを聞き比べていただき、違いはもちろん、異なる魅力を放つ形で仕上がった曲たちをそれぞれに味わっていただきたい。

「1stアルバム「LIBRA」は、「アコースティック盤」と「ワークス盤」の2枚組になっています。初のフルアルバムにして2枚組で、ベスト盤のような形だから、上間江望を初めて知る人には入門編として聞いていただきたいです。今まで知ってくれていた方でも、これまで盤になっていなかった音源もいろいろ収録しているから、ぜひ手元において欲しい作品に仕上がりました。一番の楽しみ方は、「アコースティック盤」と「ワークス盤」との歌声の違い。過去の楽曲を歌い直すのはずっとやってみたかったことだったので、夢の叶った、宝物のようなアルバムにもなりました。
「ワークス盤」は、今まで活動をしてきた中で歌わせていただいたゲームの主題歌からオリジナルまでと、わたしの歌い続けてきた足跡を残すような形でまとめあげています。「アコースティック盤」は、流し聞きをしても心地好くなれる１枚であり、聞いた人の人生に寄り添える作品になれたらいいなと思っています。
そしてもう一つの特徴が、「アコースティック盤」の最後と「ワークス盤」の冒頭に「ENDROLL,after」を収録していること。「ENDROLL,after」自体が、一つの物語を終え、次に自分はどう生きていこうかという内容の歌。「終わりの歌でもあり、始まりの歌でもある」から、「アコースティック盤」の最後に入れて、次の「ワークス盤」の頭から始まる形を取ったように、そこの意味合いも感じてください」
