CHERIE GIRLS PROJECT、「NEXT IDOL GRANDPRIX 2020」の「最終フェス」へと進出

「ネクストブレイクアイドルの頂点を決める賞金1000万のアイドルコンテスト」というテーマのもと開催中の「NEXT IDOL GRANDPRIX 2020」。「全世界のアイドルを対象に次世代のアイドルを発掘するためのコンテスト。地方予選、全国予選を勝ち上がったグループがさまざまな審査を勝ち上がり、最終ステージに出演」（HPより抜粋)という流れを持って行なわれている同コンテスト。「決勝リーグ」は12月4日(金)〜12月28日(月)からスタート。12月29日(火)にTACHIKAWA STAGE GARDENで行なわれる「最終フェス」へと繋がっていく。

今回、CHERIE GIRLS PROJECTから、「最終フェス」へ勝ち上がるための切符を手にしたとのニュースが届けられた。CHERIE GIRLS PROJECTは、「Cブロック」で1位を獲得。

彼女たちが、この大会にエントリーしたのには、「優勝できたら賞金1,000万円で山を買い「CHERIEの森」をつくります」という夢を掲げたことから。その夢を叶えるため、CHERIE GIRLS PROJECTは、ここからさらに熾烈な戦いの場へと挑んでゆく。


その成果も嬉しいニュースだが、CHERIE GIRLS PROJECTは、11月17日asiaでのワンマンライブ開催から僅か5日後に11月22日に仙台で2本の主催3マン公演と初のワンマン公演を開催。こちらも成功させたとの報告も入っている。さらに、12月12日には仙台で行なわれる「TOHOKU IDOL FESTIVAL!!～厳冬mini～」にも参加。東北は仙台のアイドルシーンと交流を深めながら、東京はもちろんのこと、仙台も強い支持基盤としてCHERIE GIRLS PROJECTは固めだしている。

彼女たちの意欲を、ぜひ受け止めていただきたい。
