7ヶ月連続MV公開中のSARIGIA、第5弾作「暴食-gluttony-」のMVを公開。その内容をメンバーが暴露!!!!

「悪魔」と「七つの大罪」をコンセプトに活動中のSARIGIA。彼らは今、7月26日に赤羽ReNY alphaで行なう単独公演に向け、1月より「7本の新曲MVを毎月連続で公開」中。同時に、赤羽ReNY alpha単独公演へ向けて仕掛けているさまざまな展開の裏側を映し出した暴露映像シリーズ「SARIGIA裏チャンネル」も、SARIGIAの公式YouTubeチャンネルで毎週3本(水・金・日)投稿し続けている。 　　　　
SARIGIAは現在、「傲慢-arrogance-」「強欲-greed-」「色欲-lust-」「嫉妬-envy-」と4本のMVを公開中。このたび、第5弾となる「暴食-gluttony-」のMVを公開した。同楽曲の魅力やMVの見どころについて、メンバーらからコメントが届いたので、ここへ記したい。

アスカ
今回の暴食というコンセプトで思い浮かんだのは、「生きる為に食べる続ける事」って生き物の本能であってエゴだったりするのかなって思ったんですよね。
ごく普通の事かもしれないですが、贅沢な食事をする事って本当に必要なのかなとか考えて。それって人のエゴなんじゃないかなと思えて。
何事にも通ずる部分ではあると思うんですが、嬉しかった事や美味しかった物って何回でも経験したり食べたいってなるものだと思うんです。
その欲深さと追求し食べ続ける人間の本能を歌詞にしてみました。

Natsu
暴食に関してはジャズ調の曲に仕上げてみました。このような感じの曲を作るのは初めてだったので、まずはジャズの音楽を聞くとこからスタートしてバンドサウンドで表現する為にいろいろ試行錯誤して苦戦しましたね(笑)見所はキャッチーなサビからの各パートのソロまわしです。メンバーの各々の見せ場を作って移り変わっていくので是非聴いてみて下さい。今までにないSARIGIAを表現できたんじゃないかと思います。

翔磨
この曲のベースに関してはとにかくソロです。決して音数が多い訳でもなく、簡単そうに聴こえるのに、絶妙なハネ具合のリズムやミュート等、とにかく難しく、レコーディングはこのソロの部分に時間の大半を費やしました。
MVでは、味も匂いもアウトな『食中毒ほぼ確実』みたいな生肉を豪快に口に運ぶと言う身体を張ったシーンがあります。よく見るととても嫌そうな顔をしているので、是非見て欲しいですね(笑)
今回のこの「暴食」、公開を一度は完全に延期して、延期を決めた時点ではその後いつ公開できるのかの目処も立っていませんでした。結果的には2週間ほどでしたが、その2週間の間にメンバーで色々なことを乗り越え、ようやく公開出来た作品となっています。そう言ったストーリー性も含めて、是非たくさん聴いて、観て頂ければと思っています。

みやび
僕が加入してから5作品目という事でだいぶメンバーとの息が合ってきたなと実感した作品に仕上がりました。素直に嬉しいという気持ちになりましたし個々の技量も少しずつ上がってきてバンドとしての力がついてきなと思えました。MVの見所はベースソロからのドラムソロ、ギターソロと続くセクションの切り替わりがいかにもヴィジュアル系バンドっぽくてかっこいい所ですね！ありがちな展開が逆に良いみたいな(笑)。
