シド、「令和歌謡」を歌った待望となる最新アルバム『海辺』リリース決定！

4人組ロックバンド・シド。2021年はコロナ禍においても5月に河口湖ステラシアターにてスペシャルライブ＜SID LIVE 2021 -Star Forest-＞を開催し、全国7か所11公演となる＜SID TOUR 2021 〜peep of 2022〜＞を完走するなど、その足を止めずに走り抜けた1年であったが、3月23日に最新アルバム『海辺』をリリースすることが決定した。

前作『承認欲求』から実に約2年半ぶりとなる11枚目のオリジナルアルバム『海辺』は、令和という時代に新しいシドの表現に挑戦した意欲作。
「令和歌謡」をキーワードに、今、マオが届けたい10の愛の物語を紡いだ1枚となっている。

アルバム『海辺』は「Poetic盤」「Artistic盤」「通常盤」の3形態にてリリースとなる。
CDにはアニメ「天官賜福」日本語吹替版オープニングテーマ「慈雨のくちづけ」をはじめ、全10曲を収録。
「Poetic盤」は製本された本のような外装に、中面は10の短編集のように楽曲の歌詞がデザインされ、まさに詩集のような1枚に。
「Artistic盤」はBlu-rayのほかに写真集が付いた豪華BOX仕様となっており、楽曲だけでなく、アルバム全てで『海辺』の世界観を楽しむことができる、珠玉の1枚となっている。
また、各CDショップでの購入者特典も発表された。絵柄等詳細は追って発表されるため、楽しみに待っていてもらいたい。

そして、併せて公開された最新のアーティスト写真は、曇天の空のもとに佇む4人のシリアスな表情を切り取った1枚となっており、新しい挑戦を続けるシドの決意が込められた写真となっている。

「言葉」を軸に作り上げたアルバムは、シドの新しい挑戦でもあります。
それぞれの物語が様々な形、色、匂いを持っていて、その言葉と音に触れた瞬間に『海辺』の世界観にどっぷりと浸れる。そんなアルバムです。
