umbrellaが新アーティスト写真を公開、最新シングル「orbit」のMVをYouTubeプレミア公開決定

関西在住の4人組空間系オルタナティブバンドumbrellaが新アーティスト写真を公開、9月25日にリリースした最新シングル「orbit」のMVを9月27日(火)22時にYouTubeでプレミア公開することを発表した。

「orbit」のイメージを基に撮影された今回のアー写は、唯（Vo/Gt）の強い要望により窓からの自然光を活かして撮影された温かみと変遷が表現された写真となっており、確信と共に新しいフェーズに入るumbrellaを写し出している。

また「orbit」のMVは唯（Vo/Gt）が監督を務め、自身で作り上げた初のMV作品となっている。
過去にもumbrellaのリリックビデオを手掛けていたが、メンバーの演奏シーンを含むMVは今回が初めてとなっており、構成や編集も全て唯自身で作り上げている。

MVのプレミア公開にはメンバーもコメント参加が決定している。

6月から始まった4ヶ月連続配信リリースで確かな手応えを感じつつ、また新しく歩き出すumbrellaにふさわしいアー写になったなと思います。
そして数年ぶりのMVとなる【orbit】
今回初めて私がメンバーの撮影、映像の編集、監督をさせてもらいました。
メンバーの事がわかるからこそ撮れるカットがあると思います。
シンプルに「王道」をコンセプトで作りました
是非見てくれると嬉しいです。

新しいアー写も発表されて、長年活動をしている分個が色濃くで始めてた気がしています。
umbrellaらしいのが何かわからないところが自分自身でもありますが、自由な表現を許してもらえるのがumbrellaなのではないかとここ最近は思っています。
そんな自由なメンバーたちが集まるからこそ色の濃いumbrellaが出来上がるんでしょう。
今後も色濃く居続けられるように自分達を貫き通していきたいと思います。
