avengers in sci-fi、自信に満ちた2年2ヶ月ぶりアルバム完成！

　avengers in sci-fiが6月18日に、5枚目のフルアルバム『Unknown Tokyo Blues』をリリースする。昨年はキャリア初のベストアルバムをリリースしているが、オリジナルアルバムとしては前作『Disc 4 The Seasons』から2年2ヶ月ぶりとなる。

　今作はレコーディングエンジニアに三浦カオル氏を迎え、制作手法も一新、アベンズの新たな幕開けとも言える自信と進化に満ちた意欲作となっている。テーマはタイトルにもあるとおり“Tokyo”。驚異的なスピードで移り変わり、そしてコミュニケーションまでもを含めた全てが、等価で均一的になっていく時代に彼らが抱く無常感や混沌、そして警鐘が込められおり、同時にインスタントな盛り上がりだけを求める音楽シーンへの問題提起をも含んだ作品であるところも興味深い。

　また、アーティスト写真とジャケット写真も公開された。アーティスト写真は今作のテーマでもある“Tokyo”をモチーフにした映像が投影され、ジャケットは文字一つないミラー仕様となっており、聴く人それぞれの表情や景色が写り込むというデザインになっている。

　7月には東名阪ワンマンツアーが行われることがすでにアナウンスされており、チケットには新曲のダウンロードコードが付いてくる。詳しくはオフィシャルサイトの特設ページで確認を。
