人間椅子、新作アルバム『無頼豊饒』詳細発表

　今年バンド生活25周年の人間椅子が、5月15日に都内ライヴハウスにて新作アルバム『無頼豊饒（ぶらいほうじょう）』（6/25発売）に収録される「なまはげ」のMV収録を行った。

　収録には、抽選で選ばれたファンクラブの会員がお客さんとして参加、普段のライヴとは一味違う雰囲気の中で行われた。いち早く披露された新曲だったが、ファンも何度も演奏するうちに覚えて熱いパフォーマンスが繰り広げられた。終盤には、鈴木が名曲「りんごの泪」を口ずさむ一面や夏の全国ツアーの話も出たりとアットホームかつレアなイベントとなった。

　そして、『無頼豊饒』のアートワークなど作品の詳細も解禁となった。このアートワークは、和嶋のアイディアにより実際にメンバーの写真を浮世絵に落とし込んだデザインになっている。

　新作に関して、和嶋曰く「タイトルの『無頼』は怠け者、ならず者の意ではなく、『自由』を表していると思っていただければ。前作『萬燈籠』の延長線上的なものになるかと思います」とのことなのでお楽しみに。

　ちなみに初回盤のDVDには、今年1月に完売となったO-EASTで行われた『バンド生活二十五年～猟奇の果～』の模様が収録される。

　25周年となる彼らから目が離せない。
