真心ブラザーズ、全国ツアーファイナル開催＆"25周年企画"ライブ発表

　4月から全国20公演に及ぶツアー「WE ARE SO GREAT! ?俺たち、エラいよね?」を行なっていた真心ブラザーズ。そのツアーファイナルが6月29日（日）にEX THEATRE ROPPONGIで満員の観衆を集めて行なわれた。

　今回のツアーはYO-KINGが「ライブハウスでロックン・ロールショーがやりたい！」との思いから、ベースに岡部晴彦、ドラムに伊藤大地を迎えての4ピース・バンドを結成し、バンド名を“Low Down Roulettes"と名付けて全国を回っていた。

　ツアー初日の渋谷クアトロから約2ヶ月。公演を重ねるに連れて積み上げられてきたメンバー間の強固な絆と信頼関係、そしてバンドとしての成熟が、“Low Down Roulettes"としてのバンド・サウンドをより厚い音として鮮明に生み出されていた。しかし、そこは“さすが真心ブラザーズ”である。ハーモニカやアコースティックギターの優しくて柔らかい音色で観客を一瞬にして引き込んでいく楽曲や、初日にはYO-KINGと桜井秀俊が中心であったMCが、ファイナル公演ではメンバー全員でのMCのやり取りに変化しており、観客のより一層大きな笑い声も溢れていた。奏でる音と共に、観ている者を少しも飽きさせないステージングこそが、25周年を迎えても多くの人が真心ブラザーズを求める証と言えるのではないだろうか。それを実証する光景がアンコールで垣間みる事が出来た。アンコールの歓声に迎えられて「ENDLESS SUMMER NUDE」「Keep on smiling」の2曲を披露し、歓喜と歓声に包まれながらステージを後にしたLow Down Roulettes。それでも、彼らを求める歓声は鳴り止まず、急遽YO-KINGと桜井秀俊はステージに戻り、2人でサプライズの一曲を披露し、Low Down Roulettesとして回った全国ツアーを締めくくった。

　そして、無事に全国ツアーを終了した真心ブラザーズは、新たに“25周年企画"として2公演のライブを行うことを発表！　まず9月13日（土）に日本青年館にて開催するライブは「25×25×25！！！今夜だけ！日本中年館」という真心ブラザーズらしい遊び心に溢れた公演名が付けられ、公演名の“25"という数字は今年デビュー25周年を迎えた真心ブラザーズと、同じく今年で開局25周年を迎えた音楽チャンネル“SPACESHOWER TV"がタッグを組んだことを表している。気になるのは“25"という数字が3つ列記されていることである。真心ブラザーズの“25"周年とSPACESHOWER TVの開局“25"周年、そしてもう一つの“25"は何を表しているのか…。いやがうえにも色々と想像を膨らませてしまう。

　そして、もう一つが11月21日（金）に渋谷公会堂で「マゴーソニック2014」を開催することが発表された。こちらの企画もユーモアたっぷりの公演名であると同時に、“あの大先輩と…"とのみアナウンスが行なわれた。“25"という数字と“あの大先輩"という両方ともに意味深であり興味と期待を煽るキーワード。真心ブラザーズの“25周年企画"は発表と同時に楽しませてくれるものである。
