THE ALFEE、夏のイベントにて新曲初披露＆たかみーが空を飛ぶ!?

　デビュー40周年を迎えるTHE ALFEEが、2日間にわたりさいたまスーパーアリーナにて夏のイベントを開催した。

　今回の夏のイベントは、THE ALFEEの代表曲でもある「サファイアの瞳」「星空のディスタンス」、ライブで人気の高い「ジェネレーション・ダイナマイト」など全25曲を披露。「1日目のMCでは40年前について聞いたので、2日目は40年後何してるかについて話そう」との坂崎の言葉に「世界最高齢のロックンローラーでいたいね！」と、高見沢がこれからについての意気込みを話したり、「コンサートが始まる前の緊張感と、終わった後の達成感を感じたくてやっています。コンサートがなくなったら自分たちじゃなくなるかもしれない。もちろん3人でという前提です。できる限り、生きる様を目撃していってほしいと思います。」とこれからの活動にも意欲を見せた。そしてアンコールの1曲目「LONG WAY TO FREEDOM」では高見沢が13mの高さで歌いながらメインステージからセンターステージへ約20mの距離をフライング！　会場はこの日一番の盛り上がりをみせた。フライングをした高見沢は「10年ぶりかな、結構高いよ。でも、光一くん（Kinki Kids）のフライングを毎年見ててイメトレしてたからな。」と感想をもらした。

　そして、8月26日にシングルとしてリリースする事が決定しているテレビ東京系「新ウルトラマン列伝」主題歌の新曲「英雄の詩」をライブで初披露。それに伴い、ウルトラマンビクトリー、ウルトラマンレオ、ウルトラマンギンガ、ウルトラマンゼロが揃って40周年のお祝いに駆け付け、会場を大いに賑わせていた。
