【ν[NEU]】シドの名曲「妄想日記」をカバー！

　ビジュアル系ロックバンドν[NEU]（ニュー）が、シドの名曲「妄想日記」のカバーシングルを12月11日（水）にリリースすることが決定した。
　
　ロックバンド、シドがインディーズ時代に発表した「妄想日記」を、若手ビジュアル系を中心に10組のアーティストがカバーするという企画に、いま勢いに乗るν[NEU]が参戦する。そして12月27日・日本武道館ライブ「Visual BANG! ～SID 10th Anniversary FINAL PARTY～」にも出演が決定！シドの結成10周年を記念して開催するこのライブは、ビジュアル系シーンに一石を投じる一夜限りのスペシャルイベント。 ν[NEU]ファンならずとも、見逃せないライブとなっている。
　
　「妄想日記」は2004年に発表された1stアルバム「憐哀 - レンアイ」の収録曲で、ライブの定番曲として愛されている1曲。異色のカバー企画には、ν[NEU]の他にAYABIE、R指定、アリス十番×スチームガールズ、カメレオ、 ZORO、DIV、DaizyStripper、DOG inThe パラレルワールドオーケストラ、Moranの計10組が参加。それぞれの仕上がりに注目が集まるところだ。
　
　ν[NEU]は、7月31日に発売したシングル「APOLLON / starting over」が、オリコンウィークリーチャート初登場9位を獲得（8/12付）。2月にリリースした「The 25th Century Love」（オリコンウィークリーチャート6位を記録）に引き続き、2作連続のTOP10入りを達成した。 そして、9月からは「APOLLON / starting over」を引っさげた、全国19公演ワンマンツアーがスタートする。来年1月26日には、SHIBUYA-AXにてワンマンライブが決定！リリースにライブと、今後も勢力的に活動を続けるν[NEU]を要チェックだ。
