VOLA & THE ORIENTAL MACHINE、4年振りの新作ミニアルバムのアートワークを公開

VOLA & THE ORIENTAL MACHINEが、前作から4年振りに10月22日にリリースする新作『Regalecus russelii』のアートワークを解禁した。

ここ数年のニューウェイヴやエレクトロダンスミュージックの要素を取り入れたロックシーンの先駆者的な存在であり、確かな実力を伴ったメンバーの演奏力や独創的なスタンスで多くの若手バンドに影響を与えてきた彼ら。公式音源としては前作『PRINCIPLE』から4年振りのリリースとなる今作は、原点回帰とも言えるロックを軸に据えたビートと踊れるエレクトロサウンドを融合させた意欲作だ。

バンドは今夏にいくつかのライヴ後、先月行なわれた『BAYCAMP』でも大勢のオーディエンスを熱狂させるなど精力的に活動を再開。さらに今後は、10月に渋谷CLUB asia、11月に熊谷でTHA BLUE HERBとte'との3マン、そして11月14日には同じく復活を果たしたBURGER NUDSとの2マンを恵比寿LIQUID ROOMで行なう。
