OVERGROUND ACOUSTIC UNDERGROUND、全国ツアーを石垣島よりスタート

OVERGROUND ACOUSTIC UNDERGROUND（以下、OAU）が、石垣島より全国ツアーをスタートした。

初日の会場となったのは石垣島 島野菜カフェリハロウビーチ。オープニングパーティーと冠をうったイベントは、海辺に面した開放感溢れる野外ステージで行われ、地元の高校生やファイヤーダンス等、開場から高揚感が高まる幕開けであった。

OAUのライブではアルバム収録曲を次々と披露。TOSHI-LOWとMARTINの笑いを誘う絶妙なMCや旧譜からの楽曲も織り交ぜながら大歓声のステージが続いた。熱気が絶たない時間が流れるなか、本編の最後の曲となった新曲「朝焼けの歌」では、急遽、この日OAUの前に出演していた地元石垣島の高校生で三線シンガー西原和樹さんとのセッションが行なわれるハプニングも。しかし、哀愁を誘う三線の音色が加わった「朝焼けの歌」では目に涙を浮かべる多くの観客の姿が見受けられる。さらにはアンコールでファイヤーダンスとリズムセッションのコラボレーションが行なわれると、最高潮のまま「Making Time」を披露し、観客は大きな声をあげて一緒に歌い踊り続けた。

また、これから新曲がさらに深みを増すであろう期待も併せ持ったこの日のライブ。各地での新曲の表情の変化や11月21日の六本木ツアーファイナルでの集大成、その後に続く東北での結末が待ち遠しくてならない石垣島でのツアー初日であった。
