真心ブラザーズの対バン企画「マゴーソニック2014」に藤井フミヤが参戦

真心ブラザーズが11月21日に渋谷公会堂で対バン企画「マゴーソニック2014」を開催した。

真心ブラザーズは今年25周年を迎え、自らが立ち上げた新レーベル“Do Thing Recordings"から約2年半振りとなる待望のニューアルバム『Do Sing』を11月19日にリリース。今年２回目の開催となる「マゴーソニック2014」は同作のリリースを記念して開催。今年の対バン相手は真心ブラザーズにとっても大先輩にあたり、昨年でデビュー30周年を迎えた藤井フミヤ。

真心ブラザーズの2人が開会宣言のMCを行い、幕が開くと、早速ステージに藤井フミヤが登場しスタート。ステージ上の藤井フミヤのライブパフォーマンスは「圧巻」の一言に尽きるライブ・ステージであった。会場を一瞬にして引込んでいく甘く透き通る歌声を聴かせ、ロックな楽曲では会場を大きな熱狂の渦を作り出す。出し惜しむ事無く、「Another Orion」や「TRUE LOVE」などを含む、披露した7曲中、なんと5曲がシングルCD作品という贅沢なセットリストが組まれ、会場は早くも沸点を超える盛り上がりを見せた。

続くは真心ブラザーズ。こちらも豪華にキーボードやホーン隊で編成されたMB'Sで登場。「空にまいあがれ」からライブはスタート。リリースしたばかりの二ューアルバム『Do Sing』に収録された「splash」や「あいだにダイア」などの新曲から、「どか〜ん」、「拝啓、ジョン・レノン」など、こちらも新旧織り交ぜた豪華なセットリストで会場は歓喜と興奮の坩堝と化していった。

そして、アンコールはお待ちかねの、藤井フミヤ×真心ブラザーズのセッション・タイム。YO-KINGと桜井秀俊がステージ上から藤井フミヤを呼込むと、待ちきれんばかりと2人に「早くやろうぜ！」と笑顔で一声掛け、チェッカーズ時代の楽曲で今なを根強い人気を誇る楽曲「NANA」をセッションする。セッション2曲目は真心ブラザーズの名曲「ENDLESS SUMMER NUDE」。そしてイベントのラストを飾ったのはビートルズの「Twist & Shout」。

出演者も会場に集まったファンも全員が満面の笑みで楽しんでいるのが印象的なライブイベントであった。
