SCREW、ツアーファイナル＆ルイ（Ba）卒業ライヴ終了

12月28日（日）、SCREWがAiiA Theater Tokyoにて『SCREW TOUR 2014 INNER PSYCHOLOGICAL WORLD [TOUR FINAL]』を開催した。

メジャー2ndアルバム『PSYCHO MONSTERS』を引っ提げ、全国15会場16公演をサーキットしたワンマンツアー『SCREW TOUR 2014 INNER PSYCHOLOGICAL WORLD』、そこから間髪あけずに渋谷8会場で開催したワンマンライブ『SCREW TOUR 2014 INNER PSYCHOLOGICAL WORLD[METEMPSYCHOSIS]』と、2014年下半期は怒濤のライブ攻勢を行なったSCREW。その一連を締め括るツアーファイナルであり、彼らにとって国内初のホールワンマンであるAiiA Theater Tokyo公演のチケットは、早々とソールドアウト。また、この日のライブをもってバンドを卒業するルイ（Ba.）の勇姿を見届けるべく、会場には多くのファンが詰めかけた。

ライブ本編は、アルバム『PSYCHO MONSTERS』の収録曲を中心に構成されたセットリストが繰り広げられた。獰猛なグルーヴで迫り来る「evil passions」や、重量級サウンドで客席にヘッドバンギングの嵐を巻き起こした「deadlock」、最後に届けられた壮大なバラード「忘れたいつかの日...」まで、ほぼノンストップで14曲を披露。暗く深い絶望の闇に、一筋の希望の光が差し込むようなアルバムの世界観を、オーディエンスと共に作り上げていた。

全曲終了後、この日をもってSCREWを卒業するルイは、「迷っていた自分の背中を押してくれたメンバーと事務所のみんなに感謝しています。来年からは俺もみんなと一緒で、この人達のファンですから（笑）。5年間本当に応援ありがとうございました！」とコメント。メンバーそれぞれがルイへの感謝と今後の自分達の意志を語る中、ボーカルの鋲は「ルイ君は雪とか雨をよく降らせてくれる人でした」と、笑いを交えながら彼との思い出を振り返っていた。時々涙をこらえながら鋲は「この場にふさわしい言葉をずっと考えていたけど、今までの活動と今日のライブが全てを物語ってくれていると思うので、一言だけ。この5人のSCREWを愛してくれてありがとうございました。明日からも愛してくれると嬉しいです」と語った。

新たな道を歩み始める“4人"と“1人"に、客席からは鳴り止まない多くの拍手と感謝の言葉が送られていた。尚、この日の公演を収めたライブDVD「TOUR2014 INNER PSYCHOLOGICAL WORLD[TOUR FINAL] AT AiiA Theater Tokyo」が、後日リリースされることになっている。

5人体制でのラストライブを終えたSCREWは、この日の終演後、2015年のスケジュールを続々と解禁。まず、2015年2月9日（月）には、高田馬場AREAにて「UNREALITY AND REALITY」を、そして2015年4月19日（日）にはEDGE Ikebukuroにて「9th Anniversary Live『NEVERENDING BREATH』」と、2本のワンマンライブの開催を発表。決して立ち止まることなく前へ進み続けていくという意志が込められたこの発表に、会場からは大きな歓声があがっていた。

また、2015年4月には『昏睡』、2015年8月には『覚醒』というミニアルバムをリリースすることも発表。こちらは、連作の形をとるコンセプチュアルな作品になるとのことだ。新体制として歩み始める彼らは、そこで何を打ち出すのか。詳細が待たれるところだ。
