杉本善徳 復活！ 赤坂BLITZで「みんな死ねばいいのに！？」

去る3月22日、喉の静養のため活動休止中であった杉本善徳が、赤坂BLITZのステージで約2年振りとなる復活公演を開催した。
この復活公演に向けては、プレミアムチケット（50万、20万、3万コース）の販売や、ライブ開催直前に放った問題作、新曲「みんな死ねばいいのに（藁）」の公開もあって、果たしてどのような復活劇になるのか、まったく予想がつかない展開となっていた。


ライブが幕を開けると、そこは白と黒のみの衣装に加え、全く色を使わない照明で創られたモノクロの世界。これまでの善徳のイメージとは違った世界観の中、彼ならではのソリッドでエッジの効いた曲を立て続けに披露。そのストイックな展開に、やはり何か今までとは一味違う空気が会場に漂った。

そして中盤、スクリーンに映像が映し出されると、その中で人々が、「みんな死ねばいいのに」と思う日常での場面が幾つか挙げられ、新曲「みんな死ねばいいのに（藁）」の披露へ。グッズのハンドタオルを折りたたみ藁人形に見立て、曲のリズムに合わせて釘を打ち込む動作をする演出に、フロアーも同様の動きで応えるという、まさに異様な空間を作り上げる。

再び映像を挟み、「ミンナの声で色彩を取り戻せ」というメッセージが呼んだ大歓声の後、スクリーンに「ここからがGIG『ミンナノウタ』だ」と表示され、さっきまでとは打って変わった色鮮やかな世界へ。アップテンポのポップチューンが、ド派手なライティングと演出に乗ってステージとフロアーを彩った。

後半に入ると、ツイッターでの絡みから急遽出演が決まったDAISHI（サイコ・ル・シェイム/SiXX）が登場。関西弁でお互いまくし立てるトークが、会場を笑いの渦へと誘い込む。DAISHIは「今日は俺が出たんやし、今度は俺らのイベントに出てよ！」とステージ上で直談判。ファンからの声援も後押しし、最後はついに善徳から８月２日・新宿ReNYへの出演の約束を取り付けた。何から何までノリ一発で進んでいくサプライズに、ファンも大いに盛り上がった瞬間であった。

そこからライブはさらにヒートアップしていき、公演タイトルとなる楽曲「ミンナノウタ」が披露され、中盤の映像の通り「みんなの声」・「みんなの歌」が赤坂BLITZを一体化させていくという、まるで善徳の描いたストーリーが現実化したかのような感覚の中、本編を終えた。


アンコールの大歓声に再び姿を現すと、最後にもう一度、新曲「みんな死ねばいいのに（藁）」を演奏。ライブを通して、藁人形をモチーフとした「みんな死ねばいいのに（藁）」が、「みんな死ねばいいのに（笑）」と笑顔になったかのように、最高潮の一体感に包まれる中ライブは終了した。

そして、注目された今後ことについては、「正直このステージを終えるまで、自分自身どんな気持ちになるか全く予想できていなかったから、今後の予定とかそういうのは現状では白紙だけど、このライブを終えて今は、ミンナと一緒に楽しいことを、もっとたくさんしたいなって、思っています！」と語り、次への布石を投下してステージを後にした。

完全復活を遂げた杉本善徳が、果たして次はどんな手で挑んでくるのか。
きっと近い将来インフォメーションされるであろう終演だったので、その動向から目が離せない。
