ROA、開設した公式サイトにMY FIRST STORYなど多くのミュージシャンからのコメントが到着

6人が奏でる新感覚ロックバンド「ROA」が開設したオフィシャル HPにMY FIRST STORY、COUNTRY YARDらからコメントが到着した。

ROAはドラマーのAKABAがSNAILRAMPや堤晋一（ex.Bivattchee）のドラムを叩く傍ら発起し、水面下で暖めてきたバンド。コンセプトは「和洋折衷」 。洋ロック、エモ、パンクに影響を受けたサウンドに和楽器（津軽三味線）を混ぜるという新しいスタイルのバンド。わかりやすく口ずさみやすいグッドメロディーと個性のある歌詞は必見だ。

今回のバンド発表に寄せてMY FIRST STORY/SHO、DJ SABO、COUNTRY YARD/望月速人、septaluck/finなど、多くのミュージシャンからのコメントが届いている。以下コメント。

■Sho（MY FIRST STORY）

「古くからの友人であるシュウが「新しくバンドを始めた」と聴かせてもらった時、正直反応に困った。 メロディーは良い、音も良い。ではなんで反応に困ったのか。あまり聴き慣れてない楽器「三味線」の音が鳴っているからだ。 初めて聴かせてもらってから少し時間があいて、今このコメントを書きながら改めて音源を聞いて確信した。"ROAは間違いなく新しい音楽を武器に新しい時代を築いていく、そして聴いているあなたを新しい世界に連れて行く" 」
