indigo la End、新体制となって初のシングル「悲しくなる前に」MV解禁

先日、川谷絵音がフロントマンを務めるバンド、indigo la Endとゲスの極み乙女。が共に3rdシングルを6月17日（水）に同時リリースすることを発表し、音楽ファンから高い注目を集めている中、一足早くindigo la Endの3rdシングル「悲しくなる前に」のMVが完成した。

新メンバー佐藤栄太郎（Dr）を迎えてから初のリリースとなる今作。バンドの一体感がこれまで以上に増し、本楽曲が持つソリッド感と疾走感を、カメラのカット割りのスピードで表現。併せて、切ない恋心を描いた歌詞のエモーショナル感を、モノトーンの映像で表現し、"疾走感"と"喪失感"を見事に融合させた作品に仕上がった。

本作においても、ジャケット写真に起用している新進女優の桜井ユキが出演しており、CDジャケットとの連動感を演出している。『寄生獣』『新宿スワン』など多数の映画作品に出演している新進女優の彼女ならではの「悲しくなる前に」の世界観を表現した、表情の演技力にも是非注目して欲しい。バンド演奏シーン（モノクロ）と桜井ユキ演じる女性のイメージシーン（カラー）の色味を分けることで映像世界を相対的に表現し、ラストシーンで色味を全てモノトーンに統一することで、楽曲がクライマックスに向かう上で印象的な効果を添えている。

今作で新体制となってから新たなスタートを切るindigo la End。これまでの彼らのMVの世界観とは一線を画する「悲しくなる前に」のMVは"現在（いま）"の彼らを象徴している作品に仕上がった。そんな本作に注目・話題が集まること必至である。

今回は佐藤栄太郎加入後初のシングルで、新体制初のPVということもあって、モノクロの演奏メインの映像になっています。これが今のindigo la Endだ、という強い想いが演奏する姿に詰まってます。途中にインサートされる映像は桜井ユキさんの表情をひたすら追ったもの。「悲しくなる前に」というタイトルにぴったりの桜井さんの表情に注目してください。
とまあ色々言ってますが、ドラムかっこいいから見てください。栄太郎のドラム凄いから！

ジャケット、PVと参加させて頂きましたが、初めてこの曲を聴いたのは、バスタブの中に浸かって撮影が始まった時でした。イントロから始まり、曲を聴きながら凄く鳥肌が立ったのを覚えています。いろんな感情が湧き上がり、引き込こんで下さったので、とても自然にそこにいる事ができました。

indigo la End「悲しくなる前に」は「切れ味のある映像」をコンセプトに作りました。初めて曲を聴かせてもらってイントロを聴いた瞬間、音のするどさにゾクゾクっとしたので、その感覚を映像に落とし込みたいと思いました。川谷くんと話していくうちにいっそ演奏シーンはシンプルにモノクロでいこうということになりました。今まで撮らせていただいたindigo la EndのMVは淡い色味のどちらかというと優しいテンションの映像だったので今回はガラッと変えてソリッドなテイストにしようと思い、モノクロでカチッとした演奏シーンは大正解だったと思います。逆に役者の桜井ユキさんのシーンはいままでのindigo la EndのMVのような綺麗な色味の映像にして、モノクロの世界とお互いに引き立てあう映像に仕上がったと思います。見所はやはり演奏シーンの「切れ味」！　みんな「男らしく」ときに色っぽく撮れていると思います。特に新加入の佐藤栄太郎くんのドラミングは必見です。非常に熱い演奏を見せてくれましたが汗を飛び散らせて叩く表情は鬼気迫るものがあってぜひ気を抜かずに見てほしいなと思います。あと細かいですが川谷くんのギターとアンプが非常に洒落ています。至極べたで単純なことばですが見た人が「かっこいい」と思ってもらえると嬉しく思います。
