Dessert Flame Frequency、J率いるアコースティックプロジェクト“D.F.F.”がついに再始動

6月5日（金）、渋谷duo MUSIC EXCHANGEにてJが率いるアコースティックプロジェクト「Dessert Flame Frequency」の再始動公演が開催された。

Dessert Flame Frequency（通称D.F.F.）は約5年前に結成され、久しく活動することはなかったが、この度、ついに待望の再始動となった。ステージにはJを筆頭に、昨年末までソロ活動スタート時より苦楽を共にしてきたギタリスト藤田高志、現JバンドのメンバーであるScott Garrett（Dr）、溝口和紀（Gu）、masasucks（Gu）、そして、現在制作中の最新アルバムでもドラムで参加している有松益男の面々がセクションごとに入れ替わって登場し、Jがこれまで生み出してきた楽曲たちを、次々にアコースティックアレンジで披露。Jバンドでの熱やエネルギーが形を変え、時に静寂の中にも異なる輝きを放ち、時に軽快なリズムと緊張感が同居するジャズ的要素も垣間見せるなど、あらためてそれぞれの楽曲が持つ奥の深さと、メロディーや歌詞、憂いが色濃く表現されたステージとなった。

MCでは一転、Jと藤田の軽快なやり取りで、オーディエンスも終始笑いの絶えないリラックスした雰囲気に。いつもとはまた一味違うD.F.F.ならではの特別な空間が広がっていた。

アンコールで全メンバーが一同に登場すると、Jから今年の12月に再びD.F.F.としてライブが開催されることを発表され、大きな拍手と歓声が沸き起こる中、華やかなステージ上からは優しく力強いアコースティックサウンドが鳴り響き、再始動の一夜は幕を閉じた。

そんなJは、6月にはLUNA SEAとして史上最狂のロックフェスLUNATIC FEST.に挑む。そして、8月には恒例のバースデイライブと初のサマーソニックへの出演、9月からは約2年振りとなる全国ツアーの開催、さらには記念すべきソロ10枚目のフルアルバムリリースも予告するなど、2015年も止まることなく加速していく。
