HISASHI（GLAY）×ROLLY×夏の魔物が、ロックフェス「夏の魔物」で夢の共演

9月12日、青森県平内町の夜越山スキー場にて「AOMORI ROCK FESTIVAL 2015〜夏の魔物〜」が開催。同フェスでHISASHI（GLAY）、ROLLY、夏の魔物3組の夢の共演が実現した。

「AOMORI ROCK FESTIVAL 2015〜夏の魔物〜」は2006年の第一回開催当時18歳だった成田大致が地元青森で一人で立ち上げた野外ロックフェス。今回で10回目となる開催を迎えた。

本年度は青森が生んだ至宝のロックバンド「人間椅子」をヘッドライナーに迎え、ソウルフラワーユニオン、サニーデイ・サービス、FACTといったロックバンド勢から、BELLRING少女ハート、BiSHほか人気アイドルが揃い、また伝説的アイドルグループであった「BiS」の元メンバーが全員集結。そして有名レスラーである桜庭和志とケンドー・カシンの参戦も実現。「異色のロックフェス」と呼ばれるその由縁を存分に発揮し得る出演者陣が集結した。

イベントが後半に差し掛かった17時、ステージにはHSMSとして出演するGLAYのHISASHIが登場。元BiSのプールイとBiSの「primal.」を披露するなど、青森に集まった多くのオーディエンスを熱狂の渦に巻き込んだ。

そしてこのフェスの公式ホストユニットである「夏の魔物」の予定時間になる頃には、すっかり日も落ちあたりは漆黒の闇に。「極悪ヒールアイドル」を名乗るブラックDPGと、先日共演を発表した「ノイズ界の帝王」こと非常階段のJOJO広重。「青森、ぶっ壊してやるぜ！！」と轟音ノイズギターをかき鳴らし、そのままブラックDPGの定番曲「バンキュッボン」がスタート。最後はJOJOがコンクリートブロックで自らギターを破壊し、極悪の名に恥じないカオスティックなライブを終えた。

するとそこにブラックDPGの悪のプロレスラー・機械獣が、今回のフェスの出演者であり「夏の魔物」のMVにも出演している漫画家のまんしゅうきつこを拉致して登場。ブラックDPGを前に助けを求めるきつこ。その時、BGMと共に夏の魔物のメンバーたちが颯爽と飛び込んできた。きつこを救おうと機械獣に挑むメンバーたちだが、次々と返り討ちに合ってしまう。

絶体絶命かと思われたその時、入場してきたのは「夏の魔物」のメンバーでありプロレスラーであるアントーニオ本多と、このグループの楽曲の多くに参加しているギタリスト・ROLLY。「お前をやっつけて、先生を救って、我々のライブもやりたいと思います！！」と本多が絶叫し、本多と機械獣のプロレスが開始。最後は救い出したきつこと共に本多が合体技で勝利した。

会場のムードは最高潮。すると、そこにこのグループのメジャーデビュー曲にゲストギターとして参加しているHISASHIが登場。曲はもちろんその参加曲である「恋愛至上主義サマーエブリデイ」。HISASHIによる生演奏と共に全力で歌い踊る夏の魔物メンバー、さらにはROLLYという、夢の共演が実現した。

ライブが終わり、マイクを持った本多。9年間このフェスでMCを担当してきた本多はこれまでの歴史と記憶を振り返りつつ、今こうしてグループのメンバーとしてステージに立てる喜びを語った。

最後に夏の魔物主催者であり、メンバーでもある成田大致が「皆さんが一人でもいる限り、夏の魔物は永遠に不滅だ！！」と叫び、メンバー、HISASHI、ROLLY、観客全員で「3、2、1、魔物ファイヤー！」のコールでこの一大ライブを締めくくった。

フィナーレでのMCでは、第一回開催から数えて10年目となる来年度の開催に向け「夏の魔物」10周年イヤーとして進めていきたいと発表した成田。 数々の『夢』が『現実』になる夏の魔物が、来年も開催されることを期待したい。
