GOOD ON THE REEL、2ndフルアルバムを12月にリリース＆初のドラマ主題歌も決定！

2015年6月にミニアルバム『七曜になれなかった王様』をリリースし、オリコンチャートロック部門ウィークリー7位を獲得したGOOD ON THE REEL。そんな彼らが2ndフルアルバムを12月2日に発表することがわかった。

約3年ぶりとなるフルアルバムのタイトルは『ペトリが呼んでる』。“ペトリ”とは雨が降った時に地面から上がってくる匂いを指す言葉“ペトリコール”から名付けられた。

また、アルバム収録曲の「サーチライト」がGOOD ON THE REEL初のドラマ主題歌に決定！ そのドラマとは、第37回講談社漫画賞受賞、累計700万部突破の超人気コミックス『監獄学園-プリズンスクール-』の実写版TVドラマ。大人気コミックスの実写ドラマ化にあたり、作品の持つテーマを体現しているバンドを探していたドラマプロデューサーからのオファーで、書き下ろし主題歌が実現した。原作の根底に流れるメッセージを読みこんだ千野隆尋（Vo）による歌詞の世界観は、原作ファン、ドラマファンのみならず、すべての人の心に灯る“サーチライト”に仕上がったと言える。なお、「サーチライト」は10月28日よりデジタル配信も決まっている。

全12曲収録のセカンドアルバム『ペトリが呼んでる』は、2形態でのリリースとなる。初回限定盤はCDと2015年に行なわれたライヴツアーの映像を収録したDVD付きのデジパック仕様。初のライヴ映像DVD化はファン待望のアイテムと言えそうだ。このアルバムを引っさげた全国ツアーは、2016年2月6日（土）千葉を皮切りに、3月25日（金）Zepp Diver Cityまで、全国15ヵ所で行なわれる。
