中田裕二、ニューアルバム『LIBERTY』リリース＆年末の2daysワンマン発表

中田裕二が前作『BACK TO MELLOW』から約1年ぶりとなるニューアルバムを11月25日（水）にリリースする事を発表！　同時に新ヴィジュアルも公開となった。

オリジナルとしては5枚目、カヴァーアルバム『SONG COMPOSITE』を含めると通算6枚目にあたる本作のタイトルは『LIBERTY』（リバティー）。「ダンディズム」というキーワードを背景に、80sオマージュあふれるロック、ニューウェイブ、ヴィンテージソウル、ファンク、レゲエ、ラテン、ボサノヴァなど、前作『BACK TO MELLOW』で標榜したAOR（アダルト・オリエンテッド・ロック）をさらに押し拡げたかのような多彩なサウンドアプローチを採りながらも、全体としてよりポップに響かせることに注力したメロディに、ドラマのワンシーンを切り取ったかのような情緒とロマンあふれる詞（ことば）を絡ませる中田ワールドの"最新版"が、力強くもしなやかに展開されている。

昨年のNHK BSプレミアム「The Covers」や今春のフジテレビ系「水曜歌謡祭」のカヴァー曲のパフォーマンスで多くの人を惹きつけた艶やかな歌声もさることながら、本作では、それに比肩しうるソングライターとしての魅力が十二分にあふれている。

尚、最新配信EP「STONEFLOWER」に続き、イギリスの名門「メトロポリス・マスタリング」の名手・トニー・カズンズ（Peter Gabriel、George Michael、David Sylvian、Adele、Simply Red、etc）が本作のマスタリングを手がけている。初回限定盤DVDには、今年4月の中田のバースデーに行なわれたビルボードライブ東京でのライブ映像とミュージックビデオが収録される。

そして、年末12月29日（火）と30日（水）の2日間、自らが"ホーム"と呼んでこれまでも度々ライブを行なっている東京・日本橋三井ホールでのワンマンライブの開催も決定。初日は、アルバムのレコーディングにも参加したメンバーを中心とした通称・"ブルーネオンズ"と称されるバンドを従えての"リリース記念ライブ"、2日目は、テーマ/期限を決めない中田単独での弾き語りライブ・シリーズ「謡うロマン街道」の"年末スペシャルバージョン"。といった、趣向の違うそれぞれワンマンとなる。
