【打首獄門同好会】二郎だけにマシマシで、美味しいとこだけ凝縮しました！

　一度聞いたら忘れないバンド名に、一度観たら忘れられないライヴのインパクトを持つ、打首獄門同好会が“打首史上最高傑作”と呼べる、最新ミニアルバム『獄門のすゝめ』をリリースした。

「今まで作ってきた中で、一番良い出来だと思います！　ライヴの流れを想定した８曲があって、ジャケットや歌詞カードもしっかりこだわれて。エンジニアさんや文字を書いてくれた毛筆家さん、限定特典やＰＶの漫画を描いた人…周りの人にも恵まれて、予算以上のものができましたね（笑）」（大澤）」

──重厚なリズム隊にギターが唸る、へヴィでラウドなサウンドに乗せて歌うのは、うまい棒、ファミチキ、ゴキブリ、貧乏…と、ごく身近なこと。意外とキャッチーなメロディーや曲調、大澤のシャウトに“カッコ良い！”と鳥肌も立つが、歌詞をよく聴くとバカバカしいことこの上ない（笑）。

「初めて作った曲で朝ごはんを歌ってますから。もともと、ギタリストなので歌詞の書き方が分からなくて。カッコ良い歌詞を書くとどうも気恥かしさが勝ってしまうので、思うままに書いていたら、こんな感じになりました」（大澤）」

「私もうまい棒のいろんな味の名前を、実際に食べながら必死こいて覚えましたからね。お客さんから“歌詞が頭から抜けない！”っていう苦情もたまに来ます（笑）」（河本）」

──今作の中では、“ラーメン二郎”を題材とした「私を二郎に連れてって」が傑作！　曲の良さやＰＶの面白さもTwitterなどで大きな話題となり、打首の名前を初めて知る人も増えている。

「この曲を作ったことで“○○店が美味しいですよ！”とかメッセージもらったり、二郎仲間も増えました！　周りに“今度、二郎に連れてって！”って人が多くて書いたんですが、楽曲的には女性ヴォーカルメインというのも初めてで、そこからバンドの新しい方向性も見えて。この曲ができて一番良かったのは、その点ですね。二郎だけにマシマシな感じで、美味しいところを見せられたかな？と（笑）」（大澤）」

──演奏や曲の良さに加え、多分なユーモアとアイデアを持つ彼ら。今後の活動も期待が高まるばかり！

「以前もJR南武線の車内に“打首獄門同好会”って広告出したりしたんですが（笑）。イタズラや悪フザケは大好きなので、権力を持ったら曲をモチーフにヒドい悪フザケしますよ！」（大澤）」
