BUMP OF CHICKEN、ニューアルバム詳細＆ツアーファイナル2DAYSを発表

2015年12月31日に「COUNTDOWN JAPAN 15/16」の会場から生中継で『第66回NHK紅白歌合戦』に初出場したBUMP OF CHICKENが、ニューアルバム『Butterflies』のアートワークと収録内容を発表した。

アルバムのアートワークは『Butterflies』というタイトルを象徴する蝶をモチーフにしたソリッドかつクールなデザインで、 BUMP OF CHICKENの今のモードを反映した革新的なデザインに。また初回限定盤は文字列を羅列した三方背透明ケース付きの超豪華仕様に仕上がっている。なお本アートワークは、4月からスター トするバンド史上初のスタジアムツアー「BUMP OF CHICKEN STADIUM TOUR 2016 “BFLY"」の世界観ともリンクしている。『Butterflies』を携えたこの1年間のBUMP OF CHICKENの動向は、目が離せないものになりそうだ。
　
アルバムには、2014年7月の東京ドーム公演以降に発表された「You were here」「ファイター」「パレード」「Hello,world」「コロニー」という既発曲5曲に、アルバムリード曲「Butterfly」を含む新曲6曲を加えた11曲を収録。また初回限定盤A（CD+DVD）および初回限定盤B（CD+Blu-ray）には、応募総数25万通を超えるプレミアムライブとなった「Special Live 2015 at Yokohama Arena」の映像が全編収められるほか、アルバムに収録される既発曲5曲のMusic Videoも収録される。　

さらに「STADIUM TOUR 2016 ‘'BFLY''」のツアーファイナルである日産スタジアム公演詳細も公開された。ニューアルバムの初回限定盤A、初回限定盤B、通常盤の初回生産分には日産スタジアム公演の最速先行予約受付応募券が封入されるので、こちらもぜひチェックしてみてほしい。　

今年結成20周年を迎え、さらなる進化 を遂げるBUMP OF CHICKENのアルバムおよびアルバムリリースツアー、今から期待せざるを得ない。
