a flood of circle、10周年を記念したベスト盤全貌公開！ 3月には佐々木亮介とタイバン!?

2016年1月2日より結成10周年のアニバーサリーイヤーがスタートするa flood of circle。決して一筋縄ではいかない波瀾万丈の歴史を積み重ねながら転がり続けて来た彼らが、10周年を記念した初のベストアルバム『THE BLUE ーAFOC 2006-2015ー』を2月24日にリリースする。

その初回盤は3枚組。通常盤と共通のDisc1（オールタイムベスト17曲）、このアルバムのために制作された新曲「青く塗れ」とレア曲3曲をリレコーディングしたDisc2（4曲）、さらに裏ベストとも言える曲をチョイスし、それを佐々木（Vo）の弾き語りverとして収録、さらには中島みゆきのカバー「ファイト！」も含むDisc3（11曲）。初回盤は3枚あわせて、32曲を収録。デビュー以後メンバーチェンジや脱退、レーベル移籍、点在するAFOCの遍歴のハイライトを楽曲群が、まるで1本の線で結ばれるような内容になっている。

なお、Disc1のみで構成される通常盤は2017年1月1日まで期間限定プライスダウンとなり、AFOC入門編としても手に取りやすい価格に。

また、約2年ぶりとなる全国ワンマンツアー『AFOC 10th Anniversary“THE BLUE TOUR -青く塗れ！-”』が4月2日の千葉LOOKを皮切りに6月4日の新木場STUDIO COASTを含む全22公演開催されることも決定。さらには発売翌週の3月4日にa flood of circleと佐々木亮介という対バン企画が行われることもわかった。『Deep Blue Night -AFOC vs 佐々木亮介-」は過去に幾多の思い出を重ねてきた新宿LOFTが舞台となる。このライヴは4月から行われる全国ワンマンツアーとはまったく違う内容となるとのこと。
