THE MODS、35周年記念イヤーの幕開けを飾るニューアルバムのリリースを発表

THE MODSにとって35th Anniversary yearとなる2016年。早速、ニューアルバムが3月23日にリリースされると、アナウンスされた！

『ROCKTIONARY』以来、約2年振りとなる待望のフルアルバム『HAIL MARY』。オフィシャルサイトでは『満を持してのリリースに相応しく素晴らしい楽曲達がこれでもかとハートをわしづかみにする。決して尽きる事の無いロックへの想いは、ますます研ぎすまされ純化の道を突き進む。ここにTHE MODSの35年の歴史は輝かしい結晶として実を結んだ』と解説している。すでに全国CDショップにて予約受付中だ。

また、35周年を祝うツアーも決定した。「Round 1」として4月〜5月、そして「Round 2」として7月〜8月で全国を回り、ファイナルは10月15日に“例の場所”である日比谷野外大音楽堂のステージに立つ！　アニバーサリーイヤーのツアーだけに、長い歴史の中で産み落とされた数々の名曲がセットリストに組み込まれることだろう。
