BUMP OF CHICKEN、新曲「Butterfly」のMVがついに解禁！

BUMP OF CHICKENが2月10日にリリースするニューアルバム『Butterflies』からリード曲「Butterfly」のMVを公開した。

同MVは1月22日（金）朝の情報番組で紹介されたあと、SPACE SHOWER TVの企画「JET」で1月22日（金）～1月26日（火）に独占先行オンエアされて早くも話題になっており、解禁が待ち望まれていた。

MVディレクターは「ray」のMVを制作した東市篤憲が担当。今回は「Butterfly」の世界観を演出するために、天井にプロジェクションを投影し、鏡面を敷き詰めた床にもその映像が写り込むという幻想的なセットの中で撮影を実施した。さらにそこへ多種多様な光のレーザーを発射し、乱反射する色鮮やかな光に包まれてメンバーが演奏を繰り広げる、革新的でビビッドな映像になっている。

この映像は、後から編集で一切CGを使わず、すべて現場で撮影した素材で構成されていることも大きな注目ポイントで、レーザーを画として表現し、プロジェクションと鏡面への写り込みを高い技術によって融合。まったく新しい表現を生み出した。

「Butterfly」のMVは、先日発表されたアルバムのアートワークやバンドの新ビジュアルと連動しており、新たな扉を開き続けるBUMP OF CHICKENの今のモードを反映している。

MVの解禁に合わせて、各配信サイトで「Butterfly」の先行配信もスタート。アルバム発売まで待ちきれない人はぜひチェックしてみてほしい。
