THE YELLOW MONKEY、ツアー1曲目予想企画がスタート

16年振りとなる全国アリーナツアー開催までいよいよあと1ヶ月となったTHE YELLOW MONKEYのオフィシャルHPに特設タイマーが現れ、5月11日の国立代々木競技場 第一体育館公演の開演時間である19時までのカウントダウンが、2,592,000秒（=43,200分=30日=1ヶ月）から始まった。

それと同時に5月11日のツアー初日の1曲目を予想する企画「COUNTDOWN to 201605111900」が立ち上がった。これは2016年1月8日0時に15年振りの集結が発表されて以来、巷で囁かれている「ツアー1曲目はどの曲になるのか？」のテーマで特設サイトに数多くの方々に投稿してもらい、目前に迫ったツアーへの期待感をみんなで高めていこうというもの。

本企画への参加方法は、特設サイトからの投稿フォーム、LINE公式アカウントからの投稿フォーム、Twitterの3種類が用意されている。Twitterはリアルタイムで予想やその選曲理由などがサイト内に反映され、そのほかは不定期にその経過報告を行なっていく。また、ミュージシャンほか各界の方々、音楽業界関係者、ラジオ番組などのメディアと連動した多方面の方々からの1曲目予想やメッセージも同時に募集が始まり、随時公開されていく。そして、注目のツアー初日の5月11日19時の1曲目の答え合わせの方法は、特設サイトによると「近日大発表の予定です。お楽しみに！」とのことなので、こちらも期待して待っておこう。
