I Don't Like Mondays.、ニューシングル「TONIGHT」MV＆初の全国ツアー詳細発表

I Don't Like Mondays.が7月20日に発売するニューシングル 「TONIGHT」のMV（Short Version）が公開となり、その詳細が明らかにされた。

今作には表題曲「TONIGHT」のほか、カップリングには、「TONIGHT」とは対称的に、ストリングスを配し壮大なバラードとなった新曲「LIFE」、そしてelectronica調のアレンジで生まれ変わった1stアルバム『TOKYO』収録の「SING」がelectric versionとして収録される。シングルではありながらも、アイドラの音楽的多面性を楽しめる充実の内容だ。

公開されたMVは、今回も期待を裏切らないスタイリッシュな映像。ボーカルの悠と彼女役を演じるモデルの佐原モニカのラブラブデート・シーン、ファンクラブ「FRIDAY LOVERs」会員を応募招待して撮影された都内クラブでのライヴ・シーンを中心に今回も女子のハートを剛速球で撃ち抜きそうな仕上がりになっている。メンバーいわく「『TONIGHT』は、昼は海や屋外で友達と遊んで、さぁこれから夜遊び！というときのBGM、夕方から夜のドライブにもピッタリ！」とのこと。2016年夏、ちょっとオトナのサマー・パーティを盛り上げる格好の1曲と言えそうだ。

また、10月30日 宮城・HooK SENDAIを皮切りに全国5箇所で開催される、待望のアイドラ初の全国ツアーの詳細が発表された。東京以外での初のワンマン公演、さらにファイナルの東京公演は11月19日 東京・Zepp DiverCity （TOKYO）と、バンド史上過去最大キャパでの開催となる。これまでのワンマン公演においては演出にもこだわり、ライヴハウスであることを忘れてさせてしまうようなステージを繰り広げてきたアイドラが、初のツアーでどのような仕掛けを見せてくれるか、今から楽しみに待とう。

なお、チケットは一般発売に先駆けて本日6月21日より彼らのファンクラブ「FRIDAY LOVERs」会員最速先行を実施中（抽選制）。その他先行情報に関してもオフィシャルHPで随時チェックしてほしい。

リニューアルされたオフィシャルHP及び日本コロムビア特設サイトでは7月20日発売の「TONIGHT」CD購入特典詳細も発表された。「憂鬱な月曜日に・・・メンバーとの生電話」や「都内某所でのプレミアムリリースパーティ」への招待など興味深い企画が満載なので、こちらも要チェックだ。
