『ワールドハピネス2016』、METAFIVEに元JAPANのスティーブ・ジャンセンが緊急参加

8月28日（日） に東京・夢の島で開催される『ワールドハピネス2016』のMETAFIVEのステージに元JAPANのドラマー、スティーブ・ジャンセンの参加が急遽決定した。

たまたま日本に来ていたジャンセンに、高橋幸宏が「せっかく居るなら出れば？」と誘い、METAFIVEにゲストとして参加が決まったという。 高橋とジャンセンは互いにYMO、JAPANで活動していた頃からの付き合い。1986年には共作シングル『Stay Close』をリリース。2012年12月に行なわれた『高橋幸宏 60th Anniversary Live』にはロンドンからジャンセンが駆けつけ、昨年秋に発表されたジャンセン初の写真集「Through　A　Quiet　Window」は高橋がプロデュースするなど、両者の交流は深い。

となると、気になるのは夢の島ラストのラストに登場するMETAFIVEのセットリスト。TOWA TEIは自身のTwitterで 「（前週の）サマソニよりも大盛りよ！やったことない曲も◯MOの曲もやるから！」と煽っているし、公式サイトで公開された高橋幸宏とTOWA TEIのコメント映像では、まりんからのリクエストがあった「みんなが、おぉーっ！とかギョッ！とか」いう曲をやる！と話しているだけに、何らかのサプライズがありそうだ。

『ワールドハピネス2016』はいよいよ今週末の日曜日、夢の島公園陸上競技場で開催される。
