I Don't Like Mondays.、新曲「Crazy」の“グロ・スタイリッシュ”なMVを公開

I Don't Like Mondays.が9月28日にリリースする2ndアルバム『FASHION』のリードトラック「Crazy」のMVおよびアルバムのジャケット写真を公開した。

これまでもMV制作においてはコンセプト発案から編集まで、毎回メンバー自らが関わり、趣向を凝らしたアイドラ流のユーモアも盛り込んできたが、今回は「Crazy」というタイトルを意識し、毒々しいメイクを施したボーカルの悠、ガスマスク・ダンサーチームに謎の下着美女、「青い」カレーやパッションフルーツを一心にほおばり、ロボット・ダンスを踊るメンバー、映像全体を貫くビビッドな色使いなど、あくまでも軽快なPOP調の楽曲に対して、これまでの彼らのミュージック・ビデオの中でも異色と呼べる『グロ・スタイリッシュ』な仕上がりになっており、ファンの間でも反響を呼ぶこと必至の仕上がりとなっている。

「Crazy」は現在、テレビ朝日系全国放送『BREAK OUT』9月度 エンディング・トラックおよびAbemaTV内 チャンネルAbemaNews『原宿アベニュー』9月度エンディングソングとしてO.A.中なので要チェックだ。

また、今回はアルバム・ビジュアルのクリエイティブ・ディレクションをラグジュアリー セレクトショップ「RESTIR」（リステア） 代表・高下浩明氏が担当。『FASHION』のジャケットにメンバーは登場せず、ファッショナブルかつシンボリックな内容となっているのにも注目だ。ちなみに今回のジャケットでのコラボレーションに留まらず、I Don't Like Mondays.とリステアは今後さらに新しいプロジェクトとしてファッションブランド「アイディーエルエムエス. クリエイティブ ディレクション バイ リステア エディション（IDLMs. CREATIVE DIRECTION BY RESTIR EDITION）」を立ち上げることを発表した。音楽、バンド、という概念のみに囚われない、まさに『FASHION』というキーワードが結んだ両者がどのようなプロダクトを発信していくのか、興味は尽きない。

同時にオフィシャルサイトでは『FASHION』発売日の9月28日（水）にお台場ヴィーナスフォート2階 教会広場にてCD発売記念イベントが開催されることも発表された。アコースティック・ライブのほか、CD購入者対象の特典会も催される。観覧は自由となっているので、ファンならずとも気軽に足を運んでほしい。
