INORAN、46歳の誕生日ライブで全てのファンに「Thank you」！

INORANが自身の誕生日である9月29日に『INORAN TOUR 2016 -Thank you-＜B-DAY LIVE CODE929/2016＞』を新木場STUDIO COAST にて開催した。

8月24日にリリースされた11枚目のアルバム『Thank you』を提げて開催された全国ツアーの最終日であり、46歳の誕生日当日ということで、平日にも関わらず会場には多くのファンが集まった。

INORANは白Tシャツにジーンズと爽やかなスタイルで登場し、最新作のタイトルトラックであり、これまでの全てに感謝を告げる「Thank you」を披露。「ヘイ、東京！」と煽り、新曲「Get a feeling」に続いて「might never see, might never reach」を歌い上げると会場は熱気に満ち溢れ、「some way」では優しい歌声とアコースティックギターの音色が暖かな空間を生んだ。

6年振りの新木場 STUDIO COAST。ステージに立ったINORANは「40の俺に言ってあげたい。 あんま頑張りすぎんなよって（笑）」と当時を振り返りながら、毎年恒例のバースデーライブを迎えられたことへの感謝を述べた。 中盤では、ハッピーバースデーの合唱にのせてバースデーケーキが登場し会場中の祝福を受け、「One Big Blue」のブレイクにLUNA SEAの「TONIGHT」を挟み歌唱するなどのサプライズに沸いた。

この日はINORAN本人の「46歳になった日のINORANをファンのみんなに切り取ってもらいたい」との意向で全曲撮影し放題という大盤振る舞いのライブであったが、終始撮影に固執するファンは少なく（もちろんポイントポイントで皆撮影をしていたが）、目の前のINORANを脳裏に焼き付け、その音・光・空気を全身で感じ、受け止め、一心不乱にライブを楽しむ姿が印象的だった。

「全身全霊で駆け抜けてきた「Thank you」ツアーで、素晴らしい景色を見せてくれたみんなに感謝です。物語はあるものではなく、人の手で紡ぐもの。また、次の物語まで…」と、最後に前作『BEAUTIFUL NOW』のラストナンバー「All We Are」に。大団円を迎えるその会場は一体となり、喜びの日の幕は閉じた。

2017年はソロ20周年を迎えるINORAN。MCで「来年は小休止をしようと思う。またこの季節にみんなと会えると思うよ」との言葉も残した。
