RIZE、デビュー20周年の皮切りとなる全国ツアーファイナルが大盛況

RIZEが全国ツアーファイナル公演を11月27日（日）にZepp DiverCity（TOKYO）で開催した。

ライブを行なう度にTwitter等のトレンドを賑わすなど話題沸騰のRIZE、デビュー20周年のメモリアルイヤーを飾るツアーとして11月8日の仙台公演を皮切りに全国7ヶ所に台湾を加えた全8公演のファイナル東京公演はSOLD OUT。満員の熱気で包まれた会場、ライブはパーティーチューン「PARTY HOUSE」で華々しく幕を開け、続いて「LOVEHATE」、10月にリリースした新曲で『WOWOW NBA16-17シーズン』イメージソングの「ONE SHOT」と、アッパーなナンバーを立て続けに披露し、オーディンエンス（＝RIZER）のボルテージを上げていく。

『東京の神様、36年間お邪魔してますが、今日はよろしくお願いします！』とJESSE（Vo.）らしいMCを入れると息つく間もなく「KAMI」を披露、「Get the Mic」ではコール＆レスポンスでRIZERを盛り上げる。さらに「American Hero」「Television Song」「Dear Mr.President」と中期RIZEを象徴する軽快なナンバーが続き、立て続けに新曲を披露。ソリッドなサウンドに縦横無尽に飛び交う光の矢が彩りを添える圧巻の演出で会場の熱気は上昇の一途を辿る。

JESSEは『昨日の自分を超えたい一心で20年間続けてきた。けれどそれは難しい事じゃないというのを伝えたい』とRIZERへのメッセージを伝え、夢の途中で世を去ってしまった人たちへの鎮魂歌とも言える「GHOST」、『10年前にスゲーやべぇ曲が書けた』と歌った「heiwa」、ミディアムナンバーの「何でもない日の祝い方」、リズミックなテンポが耳残りのいい「天と地の狭間に生きる少年」と中期ヒットナンバーの応酬、さらにジャパニーズロックの魂を歌った「日本刀」、メロウなメロと激しいサビが見事に融合した「Gun Shot」、メジャーデビュー曲の「カミナリ」と初期の名曲でRIZERの興奮と熱狂がMAXに達したところで本編の幕が降りる。

鳴りやまぬアンコールの中再登場すると、『この歌をRio（Gt.）に捧げます』とハッピーバースデートゥーユーのセッションが始まり、前日に誕生日を迎えたRioをサプライズで祝福。立て続けに新曲、さらにRIZEのマスターピースとも言える「Why I'm Me」を披露、満員の会場は底知れぬ熱気に包まれ、大団円で幕を閉じた。来年いよいよ結成20周年を迎えるRIZEがどのように「日本のロックバンド」としてミュージックシーンをリードしていくか目が離せない。
