期待のニューカマー Chu’s day.　2月8日に自身初となるミニアルバム発売決定!!＆アー写公開

年間平均50本のライブ、過去5回のワンマンライブがすべてソールドアウトという記録を持つ新進気鋭のポップロックバンドChu's day.が、来年2月8日に自身初となるミニアルバム『WHAT I AM？』をリリースする事を発表、今作の新アーティスト写真が公開された。

Chu's day.はYUIやSCANDAL、ステレオポニーといった女性アーティストの楽曲制作に多く携わっているオダクラユウをプロデューサーに迎え2014年2月に結成。2015年8月に、平均年齢19歳という若さで1stアルバム『Have a nice Chu's day.』をリリースし、収録曲『Cycling』が日本テレビ系列『秘密のケンミンSHOW』EDテーマにも起用されると大きな話題を呼び、ZeppTokyo、TSUTAYA O-WEST、ディファ有明、OTODAMAといった大会場でのイベントへ出演。過去5回のワンマンライブは即完売するなど、期待のバンドだ。今年、2016年8月には2ndアルバム『GLITTER』をリリース。クオリティの高い楽曲作品や、結成3年で120本というライブに出演するなどで、地道に着実な支持を増やしている。


あれからたった半年という短い期間で間髪いれずに発表された近作。
キーワードは、“ありのままの自分たちらしさ“


近作は自ら作詞、作曲をしたメンバーの心情がより「ありのまま」に描き出される作品になるだろう。
「WHAT I AM？」＝「私たちが何者であるか？」

この3年間のバンドマン、ミュージシャンとしての着実な活動を経たChu's day.の魅力をふんだんに感じて貰えるような作品となっているようだ。
メンバーらがミニアルバム『WHAT I AM？』へどんな「ありのままの自分」を詰め込んだのか…。
気になって仕方ない。むしろ、早く寄り添いたくなってきた。


また、来年の2月26日には渋谷WWWを舞台に通算6回目となるワンマンライブ、
「Chu's day. 3rd Anniversary ONEMAN LIVE ｢RIBBON →4 SHINING」も決定している。
こちらは結成3周年記念ライブとなっており、スペシャルなライブが期待される。
チケットはオフィシャル先行販売中となっており、早めに手に入れることをお勧めしたい。
